Let me present one of my favorite UT redux.
It took such a long time to reconstruct this track and it was so 'not my style' challenge, I really loved this work during the making =)

Always associated this track with DM-Pressure. Boy this level always scared the crap out of me with that pressure room - this stuff was creepy as heck. I never set my foot in that room, knowing there is certainly someone who will click the button.
I remember accidentally fragging my teammates with the pressure chamber in Team DeathMatch on Romanian-TDM server :D hahah, good times.
Reminded me of the Frag Pipe from _Quake II_
I remember this mostly with DOM-MetalDream. The oil rig domination map.

Hot damn. You really brought out the hellishly mechanical side of this song amazingly, makes me able to see it working even more than it already did on maps like Coret and MetalDream.

I mostly remember this from DM-Skyscraper or was it called something else? I remember it was kind of a rooftop of a tall building under construction. :o

Спасибо за прекрасный отзыв, очень рад, что понравились работы)) У поколения 80-90х очень хороший, на мой взгляд, багаж воспоминаний про кассеты (у меня и кассет не было одно время, на бобины записывал музыку с игрушек), денди, первые игры на ПК... Мне тоже очень нравится FireBreath (я его зову "оненной птицей"), послушай этот трек по ссылке на SoundCloud или .mp3 версию, она намного ближе к той, что я задумывал, видео-версия поспешная и немного крикливая, шумная ))
И да, я тоже очень рад, выложив ремиксы на УТ, получить столько поддержки, знать, что нас таких много В-)

Nice one, I remember that I was into Static-X when I first listen this one, and I liked it a lot because it sorta kinda sounds like something from them.
Yes, the original one is a really great tune.
This was always my favourite song in UT99, and this remake actually gave me chills with how amazing it is, thank you so much!

Aww mah man happy to hear more stuff from you! Several things:
1. Always enjoying your drums, something i need to improve myself.
2. This and the course, maybe i'm imagining things but it just feels like not enough Low-Mid range, maybe it's just me, i just didn't feel that punch, and yet, greatly executed, love the attention to details.
3. Overall you master very good, when i put my UT remixes in the background of the game, it doesn't blend as good, like, either i hear the game more, either the music, but can't find that sweet spot of immersion. You somehow know that sweet spot in my opinion, which is another thing for me to learn.

You're mostly right about LowMid, its some kind of color of my mixing environment (or my ears), but I think I'll alter things a bit in .mp3 version. As for FireBreath, I think I hurried a bit with its release, I think I rework it for the .mp3 release as well.
HA i'm like that too, i want to release something already and i feel it's done, I put it up here and then i'm like, Aw shit it needs to get fixed ain't no way i'm rendering the video again and re-uploading, just update the download link or the file in Sound Cloud (Very convenient, i do recommend)

I agree Razorback is an 'ace track', but it's a big challenge aswell.
Frankly, I'm not crazy about guitar in my FireBreath and electronic part just saved me here (if it could be said as saved =). But Razorback is based on solid and strong guitar sound, I have to prepare a much better to manage it, even with help and collaboration with experienced guitarists.
Dont worry, I trust you do everything you can to make a track awesome! :). I appreciate any effort you put into these soundtracks. It's a nice talent you have. I will alwasy be a loyal subscriber of yours

Yes, I've posted my remixes on UT4 forum as well as my own UT4 demo track ('Orbital elements', check my videos), they have heard it already so perhaps some of it'll be considering as UT4 OST candidates.

This song is abso-bloody-lutely kicking ass!!! I loved the original Fire Breath during hours playing CTF-Coret in UT99 and this remix is really awesome, taking familiar melody to the whole new level. THANK YOU!!!

Oh goodie, this sounds very nice. I think this is one of the tracks I didn't give too much love to back then, and it sounds badass, both the original and your remix, so very nicely done. You always seem to make these so nicely modern, and faithful to the original, that's why I love your work. I listen to all your works and loop them every time I play UT4 Alpha. I'm still hoping one day you'll make Skyward. I'll pray to your shrine channel daily. :>

Oooooh, I love this! It sounds very spacious tho. If it's in the game, I thik it'd have to be mixed and mastered differently to make it more engaging. But I love the sound of it. And that outro is fantastic.

I like a not so popular map (I think) which I intend to remake for UT4. Are you interested in remixing it's original music? The map is DMU-Route66v2, it is a very fast action map for a few players. I don't know from where I downloaded and I can't find it now, but I have the UMX file.
Imagine if this song will be used in a remake of the CTF-Coret, DM-Crane and DM-Pressure maps for the UT4.

That's right!This track is like the metal half of UT core for me, it adds its own unique spice to UT universe.
I meant the Domination map, which is by the way, one of the few well balanced Domination maps in the original game. Shame that subsequent releases in the series dropped that heavy industrial, gritty feel present in many maps of UT99 (DM-Conveyor, DM-Shrapnel][, DM-Pressure, DOM-MetalDream, DM-Turbine, to name a few).
Oh, and by the way - the original track had cool guitar harmonics effect around 1:05 mark, but Epic insisted to remove them in the final version that got released with the game. Needles to say, Teque wasn't pleased, but had to cope with this change. The original title of this song was "Kharismatron".
