My sister and i also watched anime behind my mothers back from about 9 or 10. I am 18 now and I am pretty technologically deficient which sucks but there were some benefits to focus, character, patience etc. My brother on the other hand got raised on the computer and gaming since about 6. He never got into music or literature like I did but he is more functional than I am. He got into competitive sport from a young age and maintains a core friend group away from things like twitter, Instagram etc. In the modern age I don't think how I was raised is ideal because I was a bit too unplugged. Like you say its all about balance.

Then again maybe it works because the entire anti-snitch mindset is irrational so they're intentionally playing up how it doesn't make sense, like that represents the kind of empty boast someone that isn't thinking things through might make?

Walk With Me In Hell is one of their greatest songs by a long shot. Personally my favorite song is one of their singles, The Duke. The vocals aren’t as extreme, but the song is phenomenal and story behind it is emotional. It’s overall an incredible masterpiece of musicianship and lyricism.

Walk with me in Hell would be a good listen for you guys from this band. Terminally Unique and Remorse is for the Dead are a couple of my favorites. On another note, Flourish by the Contortionist is something you might be interested in.
I've been telling them to do Contortionist stuff for a long time. Don't front though, they would love Language tracks or Clairvoyant tracks a lot more than Exoplanet or Intrinsic stuff.
They would need to do flourish and something from their newer albums if they ever touch the contortionist. But they should get more into these prog bands again 😂
The Ashes of the Wake album is an absolute killer. From beginning to end, each track has something distinct to offer but they mix well together. You can tell just off of the production for Lamb of God which songs are off of what album and this is the one where the production nailed their style.
Lamb of God is the most perfectly "metal" metal band of all time imo. Their song writing is amazing, their composition is just incredible. Each member understands exactly what their role is and does their job perfectly. None of the members are ever trying to out-perform any of the others and they all play to the song rather than trying to overplay the song and it results in all of them shining through in their own way.
Fastest I have clicked in a long time! Absolutely love Lamb of God!! Great band. You have to check out “Walk with me in Hell.” I promise you will be impressed with the groove. Just amazing.
when this video dropped and the notification came through i was sat in a field at a music festival talking to some guys about lamb of god who played on Sunday i thought it was the ultimate coincidence i wasn't able to watch any videos in that field because phone signal is horrific now im back and im watching the video and george is like yeah this is the sort of band that wouldn't kill the vibe at a festival.
