    The early days of the blizzard with the original members was a force of nature to put it lightly . Just listen to all the shows from late 1980 .

    The original band, Ozzy, Randy, Bob and Lee were a special blend of magic together. They laid the foundation of Ozzy's entire solo career from the 1st two albums. These 4 made some of the best music of that time period, period. I saw the original band on Blizzard of OZ Long Beach Arena and Diary of a Madman at the Forum in LA ( Rudy/Tommy) and they were tight in concert and ROCKIN!!!! But, Ozz's later albums chased the magic these 4 original guys (Ozzy, Randy, Bob D and Lee K)had in spades!!!

      Is Daisley on this? From what I understand Ozzy and Sharon had fired Daisley and Kerslake before the Blizzard of Ozz tour started and they were replaced with Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge?

    • @shamshab4559
      @shamshab4559 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@spaceace4387 Daisley left Ozzy's band in early 1981.
      Daisley and Kerslake were on original record, but for no reason didn't were credited on album as a musicians and songwriters but were Aldridge and Sarzo instead both who never participated in this album. Later album was reissued with Trujillo and Bordin musicians.

    Randy was a fucking star and still is! That solo reminds me of one of Quiet Riots solos but damn its just a master piece!

    • @jaybirdk7414
      @jaybirdk7414 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ma5aw, the solo in question is lifted, nearly verbatim, from Quiet Riot’s unreleased “Breaking Up Is A Heartache”. It was recorded after Quiet Riot II, and Randy played bass on it as well.

      Not with imposters Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge in America... who did not write or play on either Blizzard of Ozz or Diary of a Madman.

    The Southampton concert hidden at the middle of the earth with English security guards on 24/7 watch is so good that Ozzy Randy fans would faint from.just the crowd noise in that show.

    Ozzy's voice went downhill after about 1974, but Ozzy sings brilliantly here. This song is not easy to sing, but Ozzy gets it right.

    Always thought I had everything randy and ozzy recorded but i was wrong. Is there a studio version of this song with randy? What record was it from? It is not on my blizzard of oz, nor is it on the the picture disc called mr crowley, with another song nowhere else to be found, you said it all. What is the record with this song studio from? And this live version?

      Idk if he’s ever written music but he is capable of writing good lyrics at times. I liked his lyrics in Black Sabbarh (the song) and The Writ, two of the handful of Sabbath songs he wrote.
