I was kind of skeptical about the comeback because I was worried it wouldn’t be as good as their debut. But oh my god it’s SO MUCH better!! The outfits, set, vocals, choreography, visuals, and that dance break omg my heart just exploded watching that 😣❤️

@@cujaang very unpopular opinion, but I agree with you 🤣 the video, editing, dance, make up, clothes in 'love dive' are like the upgrade version of their 1st mv. but the song, tbh without any hate, is not any better than 'Eleven' 🙏 it's like after listening 'love dive' for the 1st time, you feel "okay... interesting.." but then enough, no more.

This is such a BOP song!!!! I never thought this song would top their debut viral hit Eleven bcz I'm still listening to it even after 3 months. That "Wooo" part is literally giving me a heavenly feeling. Tbh I was kind of tired with all the other 4th gen noisy/experimental songs and IVE is such a breath of fresh air. LOVE DIVE is totally a different vibe.

how do i explain this but their producer is like something else. most kpop songs, no offense, sound the same. they have like chaotic ear bleed transitions in different beats and rhythms and it can be a lot do digest. but IVE's songs have all just F L O W E D. they just flow with ease. and they sound so pleasing to the ears. the verses, pre choruses, and chorus all sound like they belong together rather than a psycho jumbling of random music pieces. they are definitively becoming one of my fav groups right now!
starship is so underrated as a company. I'm glad that I've is getting recognition. also now that starship has such a big girl group on their hands, they're pouring every cent they have to get them to the top

I genuinely didn’t know what to think when I first heard it. It wasn’t a love from first listen like Eleven. BUTTTT I had to really listen to it and hear all aspects of the music. And someone explained it as Euphoria meets KPop. And it totally made sense. Then I realize how much I like it lol.
it doesn't hit in the first listen because its a really toned down song compared to the debut and the usual noise music we listen in kpop. Its simple, focuses on the vocals and at the same time not underwhelming? its a pretty perfect balance

To me, this confirmed what I said about their debut: their production team has a very clear sense of how they want to present this group, and they've gotten everyone on board. Every aspect of the production is in sync, none feel neglected nor overdone. They clearly trust their vision and the members. I'm delighted.

And one thing that I absolutely adore is in the 4 last beats of the "narcissitic" part, there's a metronome sound in the back and i looove it so much istg

I've been trying to figure out what the vibe of this video reminds me of. It's Doja Cat's "Kiss Me More." It's the idea of being seduced into a foreign, very beautiful atmosphere, by very gorgeous people. Plus the use of the lyrics "A perfect sacrifice" really ties it together.
