It's part of this Clo to blender series. When I released all the videos you will be able to make the full scene that is the example here. With all materials and environments :)
Could you please consider making a tutorial video on creating a shoe and registering it? I'm really confuse on how to use shoe dummy properly. Thank you!
Hello, thanks for this video. I have a problem, when i import my garment to blender and exported as u said from clo3d but when i choose textures in blender nothing comes up, what should i do?!
When you say nothing comes up, where is nothing coming up? In the render or in the viewport. Check you have the correct render view selected in blender Check your materials are correctly assigned and nodes are connected correctly. Run a test render to see what is visible in your final output.
What if I want to animate the zipper to maybe slowly unzip, how do you do it with shape key method? I have tried and thought it may work with the combination of vertex group option under shape keys, but I didn't really figure out how to
Load the zip puller separately and just keyframe the 3D position of the zip puller. Or export multiple shape keys - e.g. open, half open, closed and animate between these. Both ways should work :)
@@digitalfashionblender i try multiple shape keys but what i want to do is the shirt closing where the puller go but the shape keys just generally close the shirt
@@digitalfashionblender and also i keep getting difference amount of vertice even though i didn't change anything other than letting the shirt fall to the ground. I'm really struggling with this
For animation I would not use this setting. If you are working with alembic the file size for thick exports is very large - you can export thin and then add thickness again with solidify modifier in blender. If you are rigging garments for fbx make sure to use thin and welded for best results when weight painting
@@digitalfashionblender basically i have to use the garment over an animated avatar on a website, i've been suggested to go with glb file to use over an fbx avatar but some textures and materials with glb are a total mess
@@digitalfashionblender hey I’m facing a similar issue here. I wanna animate the garment in blender so I’ve exported the obj file welded but whenever I simulate in blender the pieces just fall apart as if I didn’t sew them! It’s a dress that I’ve placed on a mannequin that has a collision modifier, and cloth modifier on the dress. Please let me know if you know what the issue could be
@@CA47620 add a weld modifier at the top above the cloth and any others to be sure. Check it is actually stitched in clo3d, and check in edit mode in blender as well
i can’t figure out why clothing which i’ve exported doesn’t work with cloth modifier, it just stays in the same place without falling, but meanwhile rigid body is working okay
This is super helpful! Please do more about CLO to Blender texture or animation process! Love to learn more from you!

OMG THIS HIGH QUALITY CONTENT, NO CAP, Dang Man, Thank you very much for the tutorial you made
This same shape key method, super helpful, even some retopology workflow, followed these, so good, thanks for your nice work
Glad it was helpful!
I appreciate you so much! you are an execellent teacher and i can see your dedication to sharing your knowledge. Amazing!
I appreciate that! It's nice to hear :)

@@digitalfashionblender WOW!!! Thanks!!!
SOOOOO helpful thank you for sharing
You're very welcome! I might need to do another one as clo and blender are all updated since this video, but the principle is the same!
Excellent mate. Learning a bunch with your vids
Great to hear! Happy to help!

Do you mean adding shoes to avatars? I don't make shoes myself but I work with the on my avatars..
@@digitalfashionblender Yes, I mean adding custom shoes to avatar.
Check the first video here :) for shoes animation and accessories

Hey bro, wouldn't the Omniverse workflow be better for this, alot less exporting and importing and setting up so so forth?
Not sure what an omniverse workflow is to be honest...

Hey ! When I export from MD and check "Thick", my cloth doesn't appear on Blender, only "Thin" option work... Do you know why ?
I've not had this issue before but make sure your scaling is set to the same value.

can you use the thick unwelded garment for 3D animation? or like there will be problems with the model itself?

I'm not sure what you are refering to. This video is for exporting from clo3d to Blender. What are you using the cloth modifier for?
@@digitalfashionblender yeah, i’ve exported a set of lingerie from clo 3d and now i need it to fall on the chair, and its just floating in the air🤦♀️
@@sasha.0.1 why don't you do that in Clo?
@@digitalfashionblender you mean export chair to the clo and simulate there?
Thank You

how to delete the hair before importing to blender in clo 3d ?
I didn't import an avatar with hair. If you are asking how to delete the hair of the Clo avatar. Right click on it and chose delete hair
How do we add the avatar or model with clothes from Clo3d to Blender?
Go to file - Export - obj - check the select avatar box at the top.
Import what you exported from Clo using the steps in this video.
Did Blender Can Do With Udim Uv Clo3d/MD?
Yes of course. You just need to adjust some settings especially when using node wrangler.
th-cam.com/video/-1_JlVXhvTQ/w-d-xo.html
how do you get the udim Uv? on blender
th-cam.com/video/-1_JlVXhvTQ/w-d-xo.html
Watch this video to understand how the UDIMs are set in blender it is quite easy
what happens if you don't set it to meters
Have a go and find out 😏
@@digitalfashionblender i just found out lol
