However, the Income Tax department hasn't specified any specific limit for UPI transactions. But that doesn't mean you can freely make as many UPI transactions as you want without ever receiving an Income Tax notice.

Nothing to worry buddy. Firstly if someone does high transactions, first they get reported to IT department, they first check where did the money go, in your case, to educational institution, if they find the transaction suspicious then only someone get the IT notice, not otherwise.
