Awesome. It looks fabulous. I plan on making this immediately. I love it. It looked fabulous on. The tutorial was excellent. Especially how to make it fit if too large. You rock! You go girl! Well done!
Brilliant tutorial.. I'm definitely going to go and make one now. I love that you drew the pattern from a top of your own and used measurements. this makes making clothes much easier than having to find patterns that 1. are of tops you want & 2. that will actually fit :D Delighted to have found you in the sewing group on FB now :D Thanks, Lynda
I'm so happy to find your channel! I'm stuck at home recovering from a surgery for a few weeks, and it's the perfect time to pick-up sewing as a hobby. Your videos are some of the only ones that allow for making cute things as a beginner and you are so warm and clear with your instructions, makes the whole thing much less intimidating!
Monde's Threads 2:48, the curve of the bodice pattern align with the open edge of the sleeve pattern.❤ I made my top with your help. Wish i could show you when completed. Thanks again.
Loved the tutorial and will most definitely try it. The instructions were pretty clear, for me at least:). Looking forward to more tutorials from you, Muts😝
Very well explained. Love the step by step instructions. I havent sewn anything with my new machine yet. I'm a complete newbie but I feel confident that I can do this one.
Ooh I love this so much, I'm making a costume for a theater project and I had made my design off shoulder not having any clue I'd be Making it in the future 😅. This really helps because I've never made the top for anything, and its so simple too! Thankyou!
I love it! Great tut, and thanks for turning me on to the website and the tools you use. Right now I am making this top but a dress version and flounce at the bottom out of Ankara fabric. Your video is the most helpful so far. Thanks!
Hi Monde, I ordered the washers at the link in the video but I got some really tiny things that wouldn’t hold down even a feather. Can you suggest something else? Thanks!
@@vvalmoore aaaww. Sorry to hear that. Please return them. If you have a local lowes or home Depot you can find them there wirh 3/4 inside diameter. Walmart should have them too or any home improvements store
Just subscribed! Love this tutorial. I've been wanting to make a top just like this! Will you also be making a tutorial on the swing dress you posted on your Instagram page? I love it too!
Uches Diaries Thanks for watching and hope you have fun making this top. I can definately do a tutorial for the Kariba swing dress. look out for it soon
Shirley Benjamin I wouldn't suggest using a stretch tank top. Use a non stretch top that fits you well. Add your seam allowance and then sew to fit. You will need to add a zipper if it's fitted or elastic if it's big
I'm making a flowy, red velvet, long, Christmas dress. I'm using you video for the top. The site you mentioned says my dress is too long to do a circle cutout. Any tips?
Awesome. It looks fabulous. I plan on making this immediately. I love it. It looked fabulous on. The tutorial was excellent. Especially how to make it fit if too large. You rock! You go girl! Well done!

I love it! Great tut, and thanks for turning me on to the website and the tools you use. Right now I am making this top but a dress version and flounce at the bottom out of Ankara fabric. Your video is the most helpful so far. Thanks!
You are welcome. For Ankara just remembered there is no stretch in the material and you will probably need a zipper. Remember to practice

Woow that top is beautiful
Thank you
Love this one
Thanks
Please tell us how many yards u use. I love this ideal just don't want to buy less fabric an can't make the shirt
I totally Understand what you mean. I will add a note to the video. I would say about a yard and a half.
Pls what is the name of this fabric and the rope you ironed and used at the shoulder.Thank you
WOW BEAUTIFUL
Thank you
Beautiful!!!
Thanks
Really wanna know how to make that skirt
I'll see if I can do a video
Woooow yes yes yes 😘
😁😁
beautiful it is pretty
Bridalle Johnson thank you
Wow must try
awesome
Did you make that skirt too?? Can you do a high low skirt tut??
Cara Matheson No I bought the skirt but its an easy make
Just subscribed 😊
thanks
Will this work with velvet stretchable fabric
It definitely will. That would be gorgeous
using the tank top how would I cut nonstrech fabric
Shirley Benjamin I wouldn't suggest using a stretch tank top. Use a non stretch top that fits you well. Add your seam allowance and then sew to fit. You will need to add a zipper if it's fitted or elastic if it's big
How much fabric is needed?
Ashanti Wright not more than1.5 yards
Will this work without stretchy fabric
If you want to use non stretch fabric you Will need a zipper to get in as well as elastic to hold up the off shoulder part
what length should i use for the bell
Kimberly Baptiste about 10.5 inches is what I measured for mine. You can make it as long or short as you want
I'm making a flowy, red velvet, long, Christmas dress. I'm using you video for the top. The site you mentioned says my dress is too long to do a circle cutout. Any tips?
That sounds amazingly glorious 😍. You could possibly select half circle skirt or quarter circle skirt and sew them together
no darts? juz wana knw
Princess lokko no darts the fabric needs to be stretchy to hug your body. So darts are not necessary. You can add darts of you like😀
Did you make the skirt?
babydiva81 I didn't make the skirt but its very easy to make
What's the name of that cutting tool ?
Its called a Rotary Cutter
Very Nice
mary lum Thank you
Very Nice★★★★★ ♥
BB hadjer thank you
I will try it
Mirabel Turkey excited to see your make
How much Material di you use. I live this. I am an amateur designer 😂 and I wanna try this
Nduta Wa Muthoni 1.5 to 2 yards should be good
how much fabric did u used
Bipin Joshi I would say a yard and a half. The bell part takes more fabric
Monde's Threads thank u for replying I will surely make one after 2-3 days
Bipin Joshi you will do great.
What kind of fabric did you use?
Ricci I used Telio Ponte Leggero Knit White from Fabric.com
Hi monde
Hi
