I saw Juan Gabriel twice. Once in Laredo and again in San Antonio, Texas. in my 72 years I've seen the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Steppenwolf, CCR, Santana, Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, The Eagles etc, plus many Mexican performers including Luis Miguel (a fantastic singer) but no one gave you the thrill, excitement, performance, energy, craziness and absolutely the best show ever. His shows were 3-4 hours long. From start to finish he'd have you dancing, singing, laughing and crying all in the same show.

I had the opportunity to take my mom to his final concert in LA, two days before he passed away in his sleep. I’m truly happy she was able to see him live. Truly one of the most entertaining concerts I have ever been to. He performed nonstop and gave it his all. I am so thankful we were able to experience such an artist that was taken too soon. Thank you for watching these videos and experiencing it. It takes me back to that day and childhood memories.

In 2016, I was excited he would perform in the arena where I worked, in fact all staff were happy as he and his crew were noted for their kindness and professionalism. We were all stunned and heartbroken when he passed away.
