Felicia, I'll be honest, during the Pairs episode, when I first saw the new backgrounds in the player commentary segments, I was a lil' iffy about it. But now after seeing it in the actual show, I'm more on baord with it. It's something I'll have no problem getting used to. :) Glad the show's back. There are a LOT of episodes I'm looking forward to. :)
Quick historical note: Hiroshige, the artist, is based on the real historical character of Utagawa Hiroshige, who painted 53 pieces called the 53 Stations of the Tokaido Road. If you also look at the board for Tokaido, there are exactly 53 spaces.
At 34:25 when Wil is despairing that the card was worthless to him, that's a rules mistake. According to page 4 of the rules, "If the player has not yet started the depicted panorama, he takes a value 1 card of the appropriate type. If he has started it, he takes the next number in ascending order. If he's completed it, he can start or add to another panorama of his chioce. He scores points for the panorama card as usual." Because Wil drew a guide for the Green Panorama and had already completed that scene, he could have taken the final piece of the Blue Panorama and scored 5 points.
@@scorchingshark6424 we dont know: the group continued on acting to stop him from getting that last card. if they played by the rules there is a good chance the group wouldve made different chances and dont different thinks. the whole outcome and point distribution could be different
@@DaFlavourFace this really only affected the last card…and at that point there wasn’t much wil could do, I think realistically speaking we get the same outcome with slightly adjusted numbers
The editing and post-effects graphics work makes these shows so great and really highlights the specific game in play. Huge appreciation to the editing team!
This was so fun to watch, I'm ridiculously excited for the rest of the season! Fantastic guests, gorgeous scoreboards -- brilliant way to open. (Also, not gonna lie, I was bizarrely frightened upon seeing my face during the endcard. Took me a minute to remember that I make videos for you guys.)
Just wanted to point out an error in gameplay at 34:20 Wil got a painting encounter card for a painting he had finished, in the rule book is says that if he's completed (depicted panorama) he can start or add to another panorama of his choice.
+Luiz Sarchis I have a questions about the Painter. in the Rule book it says before the meal he takes one point, no where do I see where is says if he doesn't eat he doesn't get to paint. same goes for all the other Char. effects most of them say before the meal. I'm not seeing where it says if you don't eat you dont get your effect.
+James Jessica Technically it can be interpreted as since you never ate the "before" part never actually happened, hence your action never actually happened.
Yup. He wouldn't have lost quite as badly then. Also note that he doesn't get a free painting at Edo, only at the other three inns on the way there, regardless of whether he can afford to eat or not (he does this before looking at the food). Hiroshige's ability does not activate at Edo.
Watching all of these episodes made me like Will a lot and I feel so sorry for him loosing, he seems so sad. But his "I can has cheezburger cat" impression was totally worth it!
You ever have a quote or something that you think only you and your family use, and then you see it out in the wild and you get all excited? Seeing Wil drop a "You're killing me, Smalls." just made my day.
Wil should have been able to grab a panorama of his choice when he drew the Guide encounter card (34:10). The rules state that when you get a guide for an already completed panorama, you can take a panorama card of your choice.
I bet that if Wil needed a day off, J. August could easily step in as host. I really liked how he broke the fourth wall and brought the viewer to the table. Most of the shows previous felt like the guests forgot that the cameras were rolling. Although that does make a great show, August's interaction with the camera was new and fresh. I really felt like he was there to show case the game as well as have a good time with new and old friends.
Tabletop season 3 looks, sounds, and feels so perfect. As phenomenal as seasons one and two are, the third season really blends the magic the show already had and enhances it all so well. I notice all the extra graphics and set decorations along with improved camera work. I always enjoyed the editing and music too. As you thank us for our contributions to the show, I personally thank you all for delivering on all aspects. Really and trully, a great job to everyone. #Tabletop4ever
It’s been years and I keep rewatching this show again and again after watch so many channels who do table top kind of show I just realized I watch it over and over again because of Will damn I miss him so much, love from Indonesia and thank you because of this show I have a fantastic new hobby and good times with my best friends.
I enjoyed the episode. It's good to have new episodes again. I would also like to point out that when Wil drew the "Guide" encounter card that had the panorama he had already completed on it he could have taken the next piece to a different panorama. I don't think it would have changed the outcome much but I just thought you might want to know. Thank you for the great show. As a backer I must say it was money well spent.
Saw this comment after the fact and posted the same thing. They also have a caption early on showing the old man or the priest (I forget which now) and show the artist ability instead
The card Wil pulled at around 34:30 that gives him a green painting can be used to give you a painting of your choice if you have completed the type on the card. >
+Thorigrim And don't forget, Wil can paint at the inn, so he would have gotten the 4-painting from that green card if he knew that rule, and gotten the 5-painting at the inn. That's 9 points he lost out on. He still would have been last in the game, but the dynamic would have changed.
My biggest criticism of the episode is that while the scoring graphics were beautiful, they moved too quickly for me to really be able to soak in. By the time I figured out what some of the graphics were for, it had already moved on the the next scoring thing. It would have only extended the episode by maybe 30 seconds, but would have done a lot to make it more digestible for us.
Rules clarification.... 34:30 ... If you get the guide as an encounter, and you already have the complete set of the painting shown, you get to pick any other painting of your choice. They missed this in the gameplay I think.
+d4rksol123 that just came up last night in our play session, and I want to agree with you. I don't own the game, so I can't look, but I remember that exact situation, and the player just got to work on their next painting.
+d4rksol123 Yeah you're right, from the rules: "If he's completed it, he can start or add to another panorama of his choice. He scores points for the Panorama card as usual."
The interactions between the players was really great. Everyone was great at explaining what they were doing and why to help me follow a game I'm unfamiliar with and the banter mixed in kept me smiling and laughing.
These videos are really great, a lot of times I have trouble explaining a game to friends who haven't played it before and Mr. Wheaton does a fantastic job. Cheers!
BrotherAlpha Yeah I already have this. Luckily I ordered Sheriff of Nottingham already too because that will be back-ordered for awhile after its episode.
TheVosack I noticed there were a few games I already owned on the list of games for this season. So at least there are a few weeks where my wallet won't take a beating.
Oh no! A rules mistake cost Wil some points. At 34:06, the Annaibito card Wil draws allows him to take a green panorama, OR if he has finished that panorama, he can add to another panorama. It wasn't worthless (unless I'm mistaken and Wil had already finished all three).
He hadn't finished the ocean, and if he could have afforded the food at the end, he would have finished all three paintings. Which would have made the screwage by J. & Jason impossible. It would have changed the entire outcome of the game.
This is true, if you have finished the painting color of the one a Friend gives you, you can choose any painting color you do not already have. Also Andrew, at the last Inn, you can not get the food, you can only use the characters ability on the Inn's between the start and last one, they are designated with a specific symbol.
I mean... empathy and respect don't really count when playing with friends. you TOTALLY dig into them. x3 however, considering they kinda ganged up on Wil... I won't defend it, and you're absolutely on point.
Yes!! I'm so glad TableTop is back!! One of my favorite shows on this channel next to Co-Optitude! The revamped intro looks amazing by the way so cheers to the crew and the to keep trophies are a nice touch! Can't wait to see what games Wil will introduce to us this season!!
AMAZING episode, as always, guys. Season 3 started with so much style! Edit was already great, and have improved even further! Congrats everyone, on and off-camera! I've got a few sugestions if the editing is still happening with the rest of the season. I'm such a huge fan of the show, and I hope that you guys read them and take them into account (unless you think I don't make any sense, of course, but I hope it's not the case... lol). 1. The idea of making depositions with the respective player color for each person was good, but I miss the comfortable feeling of the "Wil's house" background. That made the show feel more natural, less "studioed", you know? 2. Loved the new score clips, so attached to the game art and style. It helps us to be more immerse in the game. But I have to suggest you guys to slow down the video so we can keep track of the scores. I had to keep pausing it in order to understand everything. 3. Please, PLEASE, don't listen to the moralist conservative douchebags who complain about everything from standing for gay rights (which is an awesome cause to stand for everywhere, including videos like this... homophobia is a serious problem among gamers!), bad words (LOVED the bad words, laughed a lot, keep them coming) all the way to the complaints about Wil being picked on. Wil, I love you, man, but it's god damn fun to see your guests ganging up on you! I often have the same "problem" when I play and it always ends in good laughs. So, I feel for ya, but I hope the next guests keep trying to help each other f*ck you ass frequently. LOL CONGRATS FOR THE AMAZING WORK! GOD I MISSED THIS SHOW!
"I'm not concerned about karma for screwing Wil right now because he's a great guy, he'll get over it". Priceless. Anyway, I think they crossed the line on teaming up against Wil in this episode. Nonetheless, it was funny as hell. Great start to the season!
***** I dunno about everyone else...but me and my friends are ALWAYS complete assholes to each other when playing games. Often even in TEAM games. It just makes it even more fun and funny. Seems to be what's happening here.
Yeah, I would've been fine with it if it was just when they were looking to advance their strategies, but immediately from turn 2 until you realize it's cost 2 of you the game? Just no, that's bull.
The first episode of season 3 of #Tabletop was a lot of fun to watch. ***** and his guests were great and the game choice was very solid but I was really impressed with the production -- great graphics, nice editing of bits with the guests talking directly to the camera, even nice theme-appropriate music that enhanced the whole episode. I'm looking forward to the games and guests they've got lined up this season. Very glad I backed it and I especially can't wait for the RPG show that Wil has planned!
Since I literally just ran this game at a convention yesterday, I did notice two errors in this video: 1) The first time they show the priest's ability in a caption, they show the artist's ability instead. 2) Wil was not as screwed as he thought. Any time you draw a guide for a painting you have already completed, you can go for another painting. So he should have still earned 4 points for that guide. I forget if he gets a painting on the last inn or just on the middle three, so I don't know if he would have finished it at the end.
Jesus, finally!!! I didn't think you were ever gonna do another table top since you started your new show. I was very /disappoint. But good to see it up and going again! This is hands-down one of my favorite shows on the web.
Every Thursday? Thanksgiving is cancelled and I plan on refreshing my subscription page every 5 minutes that day until the latest episode comes out! I also know Wil is hamming it up, but it breaks my heart to see so many people posting such spiteful comments on how Wil is being bullied. These are games; winning and losing is only a fleeting moment but the journey is where the memories reside.
i am really happy i found this channel. I love playing tabletop games and watching these are just awesome. i do wish there was just a playlist of the episodes and not the outtakes and such, but w/e still fun to watch
This episode did not disappoint. I just saw the more recent episode with Chris Kluwe as a guest and had to come see his previous episode. Really enjoyable. On a side note, I am very glad I was not Will in this episode. Being shit on that hard by everyone else really sucks.
Great episode from my favorite show on my Number 1 channel! The 'tradition' of beating Wil, or stopping Wil from winning is an endearing part of the fun and should be seen in that, lighthearted, fashion. So looking forward to all the episodes & extras this season. Spiffing stuff! :-)
ZSandmann Just a city boy. Born and raised in south Detroit! He took the midnight train going a-ny-wheeerre.... *FYI, there's no such place as "south Detroit." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Detroit
I'm not sure how much of a difference it would have made on the final score, but I am almost 100% sure that if you draw a traveller card that gives you a panorama which you've already completed, you get to take one card of your choice from the remaining panorama sets. It would have bumped Wil up into the low 70's and maybe have created more point opportunities.
turns out that last encounter Wil had, he already finished the painting, the rules say if this is the case he can start or add to an existing painting of his choice. Coulda finished the ocean
I was about to say this, thinking maybe the rules was changed between the original came and newer version when the expansions came out? But this comment is 4 years old, so I guess not. The game is very forgiving in a way. You can't go to places on the board for that panorama, but when dealt it from the visitors you get a free pick if complete. Sad they missed that.
I've had the game Tokaido for a little while, and love playing it. I was thrilled that it had been chosen for Tabletop. I was keen to show my 8yo son how the game played. He loves Tabletop. It doesn't matter if you beep out swear words. We still have to explain what you've said. "F*$# me up the ass" was unnecessary. Surely there was another way to express the feeling of being screwed over. I hope future episodes are slightly more family friendly.
I think the best part of this video was when Wil was in the room talking, and J. just came up behind him and started doing things with his arms. I like the new style, listening to the people talking about what they did is interesting to know about their strategy. I also like the transitions in this episode, showing the gameboard at the end of every day was a great idea.
kumochappy The first that I think of is his legendary role as one of the two sidekick henchmen to Kurt, the owner of Mondo Burger, in the classic Nickelodeon movie, Goodburger.
It didn't matter in the end, but when you get an Annabito giving you a Panorama you've already completed, you can choose another one. Not that it would've helped Wil much...
CrimsenOverlord Really? I also heard of Wil Wheaton, too! He's the guy who never wins, right? Anyway, if you don't know about him, it means you don't watch Whedon's shows, which means GO FREAKING WATCH WHEDON'S SHOWS RIGHT NOW! Like he said, he's been in Angel (which is kinda old, but still awesome) and he's been in the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but hasn't appeared in season 2 yet. (Hopefully he comes back, his character is awesome. Then again, the way he left was kind of a perfect leaving, so who knows?)
He's just like his character in Angel, to be honest. He's sassy and quick-witted and just a fun, easy guy. If you're into Sci-Fi, check it out. You don't need to watch Buffy to watch Angel (but of course, it's always preferred).
Man, the lead up for that trophy was agony for me. I was really hoping my 3D printed TableTop trophy of awesome was going to be used. But it wasn't. So okay.
You sent them a trophy for them to use? That's cool. Maybe they didn't use it because they wanted something to give away to each of the winners this time.
***** Just saw the trophy on his blog. It looks awesome man, great job! Maybe they're giving out different trophies each episode. Would be great if they pop out that trophy on a special occasion.
TacoJim nah just takes an hdmi cable. ive used my tv as a monitor for awhile. was my 50" plasma then a 37" lcd and now a 55" lcd. much easier to read now.
"Shopping, food, obviously, and I'm trying to give a little money to the temple. It ain't no fun if the homies can't have none." Appreciate J's recognition of holy workers.
Great season premiere and can't wait for the rest of the episodes (even though you did skip over some games I was really hoping you would play this time). I did notice that the lip sync was off by maybe 2 frames in the beginning shots of Wil but it either corrected itself or I just didn't notice once the game got going. An editor's $0.02. Glad I contributed and that the show is back!
Looks like a fun game, though I know my friends would screw me over during play somehow. I host game night at my house since I have the most tabletop games and the most space to fit the players and a game table so the dice won't fall off. The running gag of game night is I've become the Wil Wheaton of game night as it's me inviting my friends over, and rarely winning..also I tend to have bad dice rolls.
Renato Figueiredo I got one or two. The best one though that my friends like is a series called Sentinels of the Multiverse. It's fun to play as superheroes out to defeat a supervillian, and it's another one of those coop games where the game can beat you if your not on top of things. I'm waiting on the next expansion to release since I got it preordered and it'll ship once it comes out next month.
ShinKyuubi seems fun! I'll look into it. My recommendation is Eldritch Horror, is kind of a spiritual successor to Arkham Horror, based on the Mythos. And it WILL beat you, the difficulty ramps up according to the number of players, and you have 4 Elder Gods to choose from, so it has a load of replay value.
Renato Figueiredo I actually have Elder Signs from Tabletop, it was an interesting play and we had to choose the easiest Elder God to help the guys understand the rules (me and one of my friends play alot more tabletop games than the others) but we still almost lost.
Yay! Love this episode and love this game. I want to play it now. Also,... O_o Tofu's not disgusting. I'm thinking maybe you just have a bad impression of it as a food because it is often the "go to" protein substitute for meat, but if you had it in an authentic Asian recipe where it's just there for what it is and isn't replacing anything, it's pretty freakin' awesome and actually doesn't taste like anything itself. Like my grandma makes this one dish that has beef, veggies, and tofu in it because yeah, you don't have to eat tofu INSTEAD of meat you can eat it with meat. In my grandma's recipe it kind of just absorbs the tasty meat flavor and sauces and is like just a block of flavor. Some of the substituting stuff though is alright, but it depends on the restaurant, preparation method, etc. The cheesecake I had from the House foods recipe one time was pretty good and this one time I went to a Chinese vegan restaurant and they had "fake" duck skin made of tofu that was one of the most delicious things I've eaten. We ordered multiple plates of it. Also if you've had inarizushi that brown pocket thing that's around it is also fried tofu and is tasty. But ngl, if you're thinking of tofu in how it's used in Western cuisine as a vegetarian or vegan substitute for meat, yeah, it kind of sucks. I wouldn't eat that either. I only have one friend that eats that stuff and it's because she has crazy food allergies where she's allergic to almost everything, so it makes sense for her.
That's interesting. For me it just tastes like nothing and I usually only have a problem with it when people try to use it as fake meat. =/ On its own just as it is it's fine. In most of the dishes I've had it in it's kind of just there as like a filler so that you're not just having like a sauce soup or something or adds some texture like with mabo tofu or something.
Reika i guess my problem is that it has no flavor lol its mainly to add texture i just dont care for it but if it's in a dish ill still eat it but i don't particularly like it
To each their own then. XD I'm usually just used to it probably because it's part of my upbringing so I don't mind it at all. Plus like I mentioned in my original post, when you make those fried pockets out of them though OMG they're good. You mostly kind of taste the sweet vinegar flavor that they're like marinated in, but I love them so much I feel like I might be a fox. (Mythological foxes are said to really love those fried tofu pockets.)
heero yuy Mike has tattoos. They even did a PATV episode about the tattoos that people on staff have. I doubt they decided not to work with Wil because he's inked. Also, Wil can cover his ink just fine with long sleeves.
Bring this show back Wil!

this is one of the best guest stars I have ever seen, i hope to see all of them back :D
J. August Richards was amazing on this. So good to see him on the show.
Okay, sessions like this? They're why I dig tabletop games. The banter, the smack talk, the laughter - I envy all four of these folks! :)

Plus he has dreamy eyes.
Yeah I agree! He has a great personality & humor which enlightens the mood from being really tense to funny & lighthearted.
That was a good episode! Really liked the guests! Loved seeing a Vikings player in there! Minnesota Pride!
I agree!!!

Yep, they overlooked that rule.
I've noticed that as well. They should add a comment so that people don't learn incorrect rules.

He hadn't finished the ocean, and if he could have afforded the food at the end, he would have finished all three paintings. Which would have made the screwage by J. & Jason impossible. It would have changed the entire outcome of the game.
Yeah I just double checked that. It's on page 4 of the rules under the description of the Guide. He should have had the Ocean.
This is true, if you have finished the painting color of the one a Friend gives you, you can choose any painting color you do not already have. Also Andrew, at the last Inn, you can not get the food, you can only use the characters ability on the Inn's between the start and last one, they are designated with a specific symbol.
I am soo happy this show lives on, Wil Wheaton is fucking awesome
The artwork in this game is beautiful. Great job translating it into the scores recaps! I look forward to the rest of the season.
Oh god how I've missed this show! Wil, thank you for making this happen.
So happy for the new season! Already added this game to my Amazon wishlist! Keep up the great work!
No one commented on Byakuya Togami being in tabletop ;_;
Maybe not a lot of people in the comments know about Danganronpa
I am so very happy right now watching this.
Loving the production quality and delightful banter of the guests! Waita come back strong!
It's so good to have TableTop back! I really want to see the gag reel for this one. That intro just felt like it was going to be tough to get through.
Chris writes letters about 'empathy and respect' towards others, NONE of which can be found in this episode. XD
I mean... empathy and respect don't really count when playing with friends. you TOTALLY dig into them. x3
however, considering they kinda ganged up on Wil... I won't defend it, and you're absolutely on point.
-_- when was he ever disrespectful?
+Alex Krasny When was you learn how to speak actual grammar?
+thenonsensetrashcan _
1. Their grammar is fine... Or I'm stupid.
2. YOUR grammar is incorrect.
+thenonsensetrashcan _ You mean "punctuation", the grammar was fine. Yours ironically, was terrible.
Watched the whole thing. Do not regret. Loved it! Want to buy the board game now!
I've played this. It's just as fun and especially as cutthroat as it looks in the video.
Same here
I enjoyed this episode very much. The way the game is presented and brought to the forefront of the episode. This looks like a lovely game.
LOL
CONGRATS FOR THE AMAZING WORK! GOD I MISSED THIS SHOW!
Sorry about some typos... can't find out how to edit with the TH-cam app for Android, so you'll have to excuse them.
***** Will has an entire season to win a game they just have this episode
***** it's just in some peoples nature to be arseholes
I think it has more to do with the fact that he's the only common friend they have so they feel comfortable screwing him... I guess.
Yeah, I would've been fine with it if it was just when they were looking to advance their strategies, but immediately from turn 2 until you realize it's cost 2 of you the game? Just no, that's bull.
As a fan of this show, I've got to say that this is one of the best episodes I've seen, cream of the crop!
Some of the best chemistry between guests with an awesome game. Very enjoyable to watch
Welcome back Tabletop! Serious props to the production team for their mid game leaderboard stings.
"Tofu is gross because it's tofu"-Will Wheaton
Who is this Will? I should think Wil would like to meet him one day =)
Flagging this as hate speech.
Truths were spoken.
confushisushi *BAMMED* #REKT
Wil just needs to try tofu that's been prepared properly. It can be delicious.
Since I literally just ran this game at a convention yesterday, I did notice two errors in this video:
1) The first time they show the priest's ability in a caption, they show the artist's ability instead.
2) Wil was not as screwed as he thought. Any time you draw a guide for a painting you have already completed, you can go for another painting. So he should have still earned 4 points for that guide.
I forget if he gets a painting on the last inn or just on the middle three, so I don't know if he would have finished it at the end.
Sorry 4 points for the next ocean painting. Wasn't specific.
Jesus, finally!!! I didn't think you were ever gonna do another table top since you started your new show. I was very /disappoint. But good to see it up and going again! This is hands-down one of my favorite shows on the web.
Loving the new graphics and the improvements! Great job with the production of this Season premiere!
it's interesting watching how a game about a leisurely stroll along the sea can be sooo cutthroat and intense.
"I can't say we were GUNNing for you but your DEATH was on LOK" Sweet holy Whedon.
YES! It has been too long. Finally able to get my fix with some new episodes of TableTop! You guys are awesome!
"I want you to swap my tea out for bourbon and leave the bottle"
You can't afford the bottle, Wil.
This episode did not disappoint. I just saw the more recent episode with Chris Kluwe as a guest and had to come see his previous episode. Really enjoyable. On a side note, I am very glad I was not Will in this episode. Being shit on that hard by everyone else really sucks.
I did the same thing. Chris is an evil mastermind.
That Jedi Mind Trick owl thing that slowly popped up out of the table scared the shit out of me. I thought I was seeing things.
Strong first episode! Congratulations! I had a lot of fun watching this, so thank you and keep up the good work!
Journey was and will always be more important than the destination, Will.
Just a small town GIRLLLLL, livin' in a lonely worlllld! She took the midnight train goin' anywhere.
ZSandmann
Just a city boy. Born and raised in south Detroit! He took the midnight train going a-ny-wheeerre....
*FYI, there's no such place as "south Detroit." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Detroit
What if the journey you are on is to the bank? I bet getting to the bank is more important than the drive.
ZSandmann so call me maybe
Lying beside you, here in the dark
Feeling your heart beat with mind...
16:27 "Tofu is disgusting..." because you can only deal 1 damage to it with melee weapons.
--Final Fantasy IV
Haha I loved this episode. I don't what's wrong with me, but I really enjoy watching Wil get all frustrated and lose.
Thanks Will for showing me a lot of good games, my wallet cry, but my family smile :D
Good luck to all of the crew and guest of this amazing show.
I just found this channel. These Tabletop game videos are so amazingly well-done! Holy crap, why am I just discovering this channel in my life!
"He was Charles Gunning for you" 😂
I'm not sure how much of a difference it would have made on the final score, but I am almost 100% sure that if you draw a traveller card that gives you a panorama which you've already completed, you get to take one card of your choice from the remaining panorama sets. It would have bumped Wil up into the low 70's and maybe have created more point opportunities.
So happy this is back.
Congrats once again to ***** Felicia Day and Geek & Sundry.
And also a hefty thanks to all backers. :)
And now to watch. :)
Glad the show is back! I truly missed it. Thanks for showing me Tokaido... definitely a game I will be passing on. Can't wait until next week.
Alan Tudyk and J. August Richards I would have to say are the 2 big guests that I geeked out over the most.
turns out that last encounter Wil had, he already finished the painting, the rules say if this is the case he can start or add to an existing painting of his choice.
Did he have that flag the whole time?!???
Found this show on Amazon Prime and watched season 1 & 2. Decided to check for season 3 and I'm happy that they made a season 3.
I think the best part of this video was when Wil was in the room talking, and J. just came up behind him and started doing things with his arms. I like the new style, listening to the people talking about what they did is interesting to know about their strategy. I also like the transitions in this episode, showing the gameboard at the end of every day was a great idea.
Wasn't J. August Richards in Arrow season 2 as an assassin? If so, he was VERY good, very convincing. Hope he continues to get solid work :)
He's Deathlok in S1 of S.H.I.E.L.D., Gunn in Angel, and yes he was in one ep of Arrow way back in S1. www.imdb.com/name/nm0724124/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
Yeah! He was Mr. Blank in the eps "Home Invasion". Oliver stabbed him with a furnace poker.
kumochappy The first that I think of is his legendary role as one of the two sidekick henchmen to Kurt, the owner of Mondo Burger, in the classic Nickelodeon movie, Goodburger.
It didn't matter in the end, but when you get an Annabito giving you a Panorama you've already completed, you can choose another one. Not that it would've helped Wil much...
Never heard of J. August till i saw this, but he seems like a really cool, funny, guy :)
Funny. He was the only guest I'd heard of. :p
ChevaliersEmeraude Angel's the fucking best, and his character is pretty much great in it.
He had me at groupon
He's just like his character in Angel, to be honest. He's sassy and quick-witted and just a fun, easy guy. If you're into Sci-Fi, check it out. You don't need to watch Buffy to watch Angel (but of course, it's always preferred).
OMG I am so happy you guys are back, I have been watching since season 1 and have been loving it ever since. Go guys, go!
I am so glad TableTop is back on TH-cam! Great show!
It was a 3d model for a trophy that Wil can (and has) printed on his 3d printer. It is tabletop-tastic. There's a picture of it on his blog.
That's awesome.
Man, having a 3D printer must be pretty cool...
*****
That's really cool - maybe Wil just wants to keep it all for himself :)
***** Just saw the trophy on his blog. It looks awesome man, great job! Maybe they're giving out different trophies each episode. Would be great if they pop out that trophy on a special occasion.
Tabletop needs to have its own TV show. TH-cam is great and all, but I'd watch this on the bigger screen any day if I could!
You can watch it on a big screen... just hook a TV up to your computer.
Christopher Herkner
Or use a game console or a smart tv or a blu ray player to bring up youtube on your tv.
That takes effort though.
TacoJim nah just takes an hdmi cable. ive used my tv as a monitor for awhile. was my 50" plasma then a 37" lcd and now a 55" lcd. much easier to read now.
I use my TV as my computer monitor. Which isn't really the same thing as Tabletop being a TV show.
After the filming of this episode Wil was rushed to the hospital due to him going into a deep salt coma that lasted nearly a week
"Shopping, food, obviously, and I'm trying to give a little money to the temple.
It ain't no fun if the homies can't have none."
Appreciate J's recognition of holy workers.
Go for the coop games man!
Renato Figueiredo
I got one or two.
Renato Figueiredo
I actually have Elder Signs from Tabletop, it was an interesting play and we had to choose the easiest Elder God to help the guys understand the rules (me and one of my friends play alot more tabletop games than the others) but we still almost lost.
I personally have had it in an authentic dish and still didn't care for it. It wasn't bad just not my kind of food so i tend to not eat tofu
XD now ill have to go and make some of those fried pockets to try
Since when does Will have wicked arm ink?
Was thinking that the entire time.
wilwheaton.net/2014/11/welcome-to-my-life-tattoo/
This should answer your question.
Amused2bHere Thanks!
heero yuy What? Why?
heero yuy Mike has tattoos. They even did a PATV episode about the tattoos that people on staff have. I doubt they decided not to work with Wil because he's inked.
Also, Wil can cover his ink just fine with long sleeves.
Wow, you guys have stepped up the production on this season. Amazing start.
So happy to see you back on with new episodes. Great work.
i feel pretty bad for wil. he is clearly annoyed that everyone is ganging up on him and i feel his pain. that shit happens to me all the time.
And essentially blocked themselves from beating J. Chris and Jason were so focused on Will they pretty much king naked J unintentionally
15 yard penalty! ROUGHING THE KICKER!! *jazz hands*
Jason Wishnov has a bit of that Robert Downey Jr. look.
Thank you Table Top, we have learned how to play so many games watching your videos. Keep up the great work.
The graphics for this episode, particularly the between-day score summary are outstanding!
My favourite part is where that guy picked that card, y'know?
word
