The undead knight seems like it belongs better to Aurora. You know, the Ice throne she sits on, looks like a knight. It actually can be like Vexanas ult right now but just made of Ice. It's way better with how Aurora drops her iceberg ultimate.
Her ult before was sooo much better than her new nerfed ult. She can burst squishy mm and mages late game with just her ult before. Now the only thing I find useful for her ult is the knockup.
1-2-3 should be better since you can make them waste their dash if skill 1 didn’t hit then aim manually with skill 3 and cast skill 2 instead. so 1-2-3 if 1 hit and 1-3-2 if 1 didn’t hit.
@@mr.archer4119 I think this is best in most situations. The s2 is instant effect and slows them so the s1 can hit more easily. Sometimes I go, 2 3 1 instead if I'm worried about s1 having a near miss.
All that nerf on Vexana's ultimate put her summoned lord into depression and now all it is motivated in doing is diving into enemy turret and dying. In all seriousness, this lord has gotta be a minion that just used a lot of steroids.

But since she got buffed if u wanna have fun with her again Try my broken max speed setup: Support emblem for more speed and heal, in there you get Agility for more speed, then Wilderness Blessing for more speed in jungle and midlane and last but not least Lethal Ignition for additional ult combo dmg. Battlespell is: you guess it right, Sprint :) The Items are the Best part. We just wanna be fast, have dmg and hp + hp and mana regen, so we just regen while sprinting away :) First one is enchanted Talisman for mana regen and cooldownreduction and hp. Boots are u guess it: Rapid boots of course. With them as second item youre already flyin through jungle the areas lol As third we have Ice Queen Wand for more speed, hp and dmg. Because this all is fucking genius, we have Genius Wand as well, more speed mor dmg and more penetrating magical penetration! I liked Shin's point here, on the end of the vid specifically. Vexana doesn't seem "Vexana" now. She looks like some side character on some Disney Cartoon Movies, and that same problem revolves around Faramis too (AND LEOMORD'S VOICE, GOD I HATE IT). However, her skills are good for set ups. But veteran Vexana users like Shin will have to play loads of matches to get used to the new Vexana. Appearance, 4.5/10, doesn't look like a Necromancer or something like that on her lore Idk. Skill set ups, 6/10. Damage, 5.5/10.
i absolutely agree on the appearance.. Vexana is one of the few heroes who does not have conventional beauty. And now she literally looks like every other female hero. hope they just make her look more creepy and scary. like wet hair and ruined gown and floating rusty crown..
Gameplay wise, since her puppet is so useless I can't consider a summon controller, she resorts to one shot gameplay. And boy is she bad at that. Her full combo sometimes isn't enough to kill marksmen in the late game, which is pathetic, before even realising that Vale can deal more damage than her without even using his ult. She is just a worse in every aspect version of Vale (even CC wise, Vale's 2nd skill is harder to dodge than her 1st or ultimate, and even if he uses control ultimate his damage is higher than hers).
If only they kept the concept of the old vexana like her ult and just adjust or tweak her 1st and 2nd. Im a vex main and her old version seems much more fun to use than her new one
For me, adding ice queen wand and glowing wand will help you chase your enemy since Vexana’s ult can apply effects. But I think it would be better if we can control the knight (Vexana’s ult) like her old ult. I prioritize building ice queen wand and glowing wand in early game for vexana’s ult Edit: This is to help me launch my combo before casting her ult
This build with her old ult is so good, plus the knight moves and attacks to slowly that it enables enemies to just run before they got hit. Unless you go for a burst build
I tried IQW, Glowing and Genius Wand on her just to bump her up to walking instead of her (now out of character since she's no longer a corpse) shambling.

Her new ult is more leaning towards team fights AOE skill contrast to her old skill which is good at *"SECURING OUR KILL"* I kinda like her new ult tho, one thing I don't like is how her 1st skill now stops when you hit an enemy rather than continuing it's path unhindered.
Hwr new ult sucks, not gonna lie. It's just some pathetic damage with knockup, and the knight is so useless the skill could be the same without it, as it is right now. She has the lowest win rate of all heroes in mythic 400+ points.
@@julienneberryjimenez8718 In my opinion the knockup isn't enough as well, because of the extremely high Cooldown, it feels you have that knockup with some pathetic damage every 50 seconds and since the puppet is practically useless, you have not much to do when it's in cooldown. It's actually quite outrageous that Vexana's ultimate is one of the worst mage ultimates considering its bad effects yet it has one of the longest cooldowns. I mean what the hell Moonton?
@@alonkob2127 I know right?! The damage is absolute garbage for some dramatic undead knight ult. The cooldown is also a problem which is why I thought of using a cd reduction build, but then the damage will be very low including for the other skills. Moonton really messed Vexana up, more specifically, her ult.

Vexana went from to an OP mage to a rip version of Vale. Vale can literally one shot her in mid game whereas vexana can’t but uses her ult to finish her off. the problem is Vexana’s knight is too slow
Vexana was definitely very op before. You could get kil,s on full hp enemies with just her ult but now her ult is sooooo useless. I also hate how they changed her look. She looked so eerie and creepy but now she just looks so much more basic🙁

Back when Moonton started working on revamp and first versions of new Vexana appeared on advanced server, she WAS able to reposition her ult. But for whatever reason they decided to remove it
Totally agree with u shin, been using her since her revamp, and i find her ult a bit useless when enemies started running away.. but it's pretty usefull on teamfights with the area knockup and burst damage, but after that, ngl, pretty useless..
If only she can reposition the fake lord..that would be great..Also shin you should probably try the new buffed gord.Now he feels really like he is on his hoverboard.
Now, about new Vexana, I used the old ult to pursue enemies. People can say "her ult is crap" at that time, but man, my kills were that way (and it was a good quantity of kills for sure). Ah, and I preferred her old appearance, specially with the peaky skin.
They could've just kept the old ult and it woyld be much better, also her 1st skill now where first contact stuns is so bad that her old 1st skill is much better as it enables a more control among enemies and a much more helpful for escaping. Design wise its good but the i would still prefer the old vex looks as it is unique and cool.
A good buff for vexanas ultimate is to make her knight do a little charge up animation and dash to a location dealing damage along the way and the knight can dash every 3 or 4 seconds, that way not only does the knight get mobility but it can be valuable when in a teamfight and the enemies are clumped together
One thing I hate about vexana is you can't relocate the undead knight. The knock up was so good but after that the ult became useless again since the knight is so slow, damage not that high and you can't relocate it plus the cd is so high
i really love nee vexana skill set as a hero, but moonton kind of kill her image of "undead queen" but her skill is aoe with good damage and i love that.
To be honest, even Faramis revamp is useless. They nerfed his second so much that he has become useless if you use him as a mage. They made him purely a support hero, and a bad one at that because other supports are way better than him. His ulti is kinda weak too, but we can manage that but now he can't poke well due to the Nerf on second skill. He was the first hero with which I became a global ranked, sad to see how badly they treated him with this revamp.
i actually like the new faramis. Most players mistake is using the ult at the backend of team fights to save dying allies. Wherein I use it as soon as our team is engaged to absorb incoming dmg from enemy skills. Another technique is to spam 2nd first then use first if enemies start attacking you to autocollect the orbs for the heal. Most players use their first to engage wasting also the time duration of the massive def boost.

Design wise I like the previous Vexana. I hope they make this trash Ult better though. At least make the knight a runner and tankier or enable the relocation like the old Ult. Or better yet, bring back her previous Ult! It is a lot better. Love the DPS and relocating it to check bushes adds utility like a proper Ultimate. I understand there is a knock up effect now but like Shin said, it is already useless after that, and worse if you miss landing it on enemies.
Wow that new design is a really big downgrade... have gaming companies learned nothing from the thirst the whole world had for Lady Dimitrescu or is everyone just obsessed with the Genshin style now 😭 Vexana's old design was good it was unique now her face is the same as every other female hero in the game. The ult was what makes vexana unique. Now she's just another mage with AoE + cc ult. Like Aurora, nana, or vale. Oh wait, she's basically a nerfed Vale right now.
I liked her old Ult which can still deal damage when the enemy runs away. Her new ult is just a big minion, can't really protect her from teamfights since it is so SLOW. Her first skill is still one of the best CCs. I sorta wished she would someone waves of undead instead of big slow lord-a-like.
They should at least have made it immune to CC and stay very close to her. It can get stunned and even pulled by Atlas ult. Atlas is big, but I really don't think he's big enough to pull a mini lord
They removed the re-adjust position of her ult? I thought they kept that but it can only be triggered once. 2nd skill would have been great if they kept the button to hit like faramis 1st skill.
Shin, you can move out your vexana's big chungus out of the range by just moving away from the target, same as moving the other monkeys out of the fight
Vexana's revamp looks really great but then in my opinion the undead knight is slow when following her. I know it will automatically teleport once you attacked an enemy, creep or minion. And I wanted the jump on the undead knight but then Moonton sort of overnerf her... Still great game Shin!
in advanced server, there's one patch there wherein the eternal guard can jump once more after he landed. I wish they'll put it back. Once the guard is dropped, he can't really do much. I really prefer the old ult or at least, buff the eternal guard and put some def on it. Chang'e can easily erase that in a second

I play her a lot after revamp and I think her ulti should have the relocating button or do the one that rush back to caster to protect their master like Popol and Kupa at least.
I think the mini lord should have different ways to smack people when summoned, he could charge at what he's targeting and stun the targeted enemy or use the magic damage to burst the charged enemies and he would do it three times during the duration of the last skill, the first you level up the skill he will only charge once and will attack normally slashing his sword and second level of the skill gets him 2 charges and 3 on the third level, and when he gets a kill on the charge kill he gets a sprint buff to chase enemies faster, the movement speed buff may be too op but I at least want the charge skill on the mini lord to be true so he can do something after summoned because the slow walking speed and sword slashing animation is sooo slow

The ultimate is way disappointing, not long before the update you could adjust the knight position after cast, idk why it was cut out, I also miss the old Vexana and her comment about when she comes.
Honestly? I really don't like this revamp. Her ult actually feels like a Nerf (no more oneshotting Squishies). Her corpse appearance got turned into yet another generic "pretty" mage look.
Her ult needs a buff. Bring the relocation feature back so the knight doesn’t die immediately, or make it tankier and deal more damage. Apart from that, I’m honestly a fan of her revamp. I didn’t like her before but I do now. Her skills feel better, and she looks better.
She had a better look before tbh. Her ult was better as well. Only good thing about this revamp is her improved s2, and s1(I guess?) You obviously didn't know how to use her effectively before though

I played her and the biggest problem that I noticed was that her knight is so slow, the constant nerfs make him practically useless after the cc (if he actually survives, he dies like a minion during crowded teamfights). Long story short, ult bad.

Ice Queen Wand can't be procced by the knight. And Moonton decided to remove the ability to reposition the knight before she was released in the original server which is sad.

well my combo is 1-3-2 well you cant really guarantee a hit from ult alone so comboing it with forst skill is necessary

For someone who main Faramis like me just don't know how to play him anymore. Feel like he got nerf so hard on cooldown skill one so I cant roaming around like I used to.T^T

7:59 - 8:15 is my favorite part. The way Shin commented on Vexana's ultimate is funny but also true at times. His explanation is really on-point.

Totally agree with u shin, been using her since her revamp, and i find her ult a bit useless when enemies started running away.. but it's pretty usefull on teamfights with the area knockup and burst damage, but after that, ngl, pretty useless..

Now, about new Vexana, I used the old ult to pursue enemies. People can say "her ult is crap" at that time, but man, my kills were that way (and it was a good quantity of kills for sure).
Ah, and I preferred her old appearance, specially with the peaky skin.

They could've just kept the old ult and it woyld be much better, also her 1st skill now where first contact stuns is so bad that her old 1st skill is much better as it enables a more control among enemies and a much more helpful for escaping. Design wise its good but the i would still prefer the old vex looks as it is unique and cool.
A good buff for vexanas ultimate is to make her knight do a little charge up animation and dash to a location dealing damage along the way and the knight can dash every 3 or 4 seconds, that way not only does the knight get mobility but it can be valuable when in a teamfight and the enemies are clumped together

One thing I hate about vexana is you can't relocate the undead knight. The knock up was so good but after that the ult became useless again since the knight is so slow, damage not that high and you can't relocate it plus the cd is so high
i really love nee vexana skill set as a hero, but moonton kind of kill her image of "undead queen" but her skill is aoe with good damage and i love that.
You should play some Terizla if you've got the time! His s2 can no longer be interrupted except for suppression and his ult is alot quicker too 😁

To be honest, even Faramis revamp is useless. They nerfed his second so much that he has become useless if you use him as a mage. They made him purely a support hero, and a bad one at that because other supports are way better than him.
His ulti is kinda weak too, but we can manage that but now he can't poke well due to the Nerf on second skill. He was the first hero with which I became a global ranked, sad to see how badly they treated him with this revamp.
Same. I’m a faramis main too, and I was hyped about the revamp. Then I saw what they did…they didn’t buff him, they nerfed him. :(
i actually like the new faramis. Most players mistake is using the ult at the backend of team fights to save dying allies. Wherein I use it as soon as our team is engaged to absorb incoming dmg from enemy skills. Another technique is to spam 2nd first then use first if enemies start attacking you to autocollect the orbs for the heal. Most players use their first to engage wasting also the time duration of the massive def boost.

Design wise I like the previous Vexana. I hope they make this trash Ult better though. At least make the knight a runner and tankier or enable the relocation like the old Ult. Or better yet, bring back her previous Ult! It is a lot better. Love the DPS and relocating it to check bushes adds utility like a proper Ultimate. I understand there is a knock up effect now but like Shin said, it is already useless after that, and worse if you miss landing it on enemies.

They should add some effects to the summoned unit, like the terrified effect every two or three basic attack.
Wow that new design is a really big downgrade... have gaming companies learned nothing from the thirst the whole world had for Lady Dimitrescu or is everyone just obsessed with the Genshin style now 😭 Vexana's old design was good it was unique now her face is the same as every other female hero in the game.

I liked her old Ult which can still deal damage when the enemy runs away. Her new ult is just a big minion, can't really protect her from teamfights since it is so SLOW. Her first skill is still one of the best CCs. I sorta wished she would someone waves of undead instead of big slow lord-a-like.
They should at least have made it immune to CC and stay very close to her. It can get stunned and even pulled by Atlas ult. Atlas is big, but I really don't think he's big enough to pull a mini lord
It can also be executed lol. Was playing selena and was almost about to die when I accidentally used execute on that lord and survived.

Vexana's revamp looks really great but then in my opinion the undead knight is slow when following her. I know it will automatically teleport once you attacked an enemy, creep or minion. And I wanted the jump on the undead knight but then Moonton sort of overnerf her...

in advanced server, there's one patch there wherein the eternal guard can jump once more after he landed. I wish they'll put it back. Once the guard is dropped, he can't really do much. I really prefer the old ult or at least, buff the eternal guard and put some def on it. Chang'e can easily erase that in a second

I play her a lot after revamp and I think her ulti should have the relocating button or do the one that rush back to caster to protect their master like Popol and Kupa at least.
Ice Wand, Thunderbelt, and any other attack speed item does not work with Vexana’s Undead Knight…..Sadd
I think the mini lord should have different ways to smack people when summoned, he could charge at what he's targeting and stun the targeted enemy or use the magic damage to burst the charged enemies and he would do it three times during the duration of the last skill, the first you level up the skill he will only charge once and will attack normally slashing his sword and second level of the skill gets him 2 charges and 3 on the third level, and when he gets a kill on the charge kill he gets a sprint buff to chase enemies faster, the movement speed buff may be too op but I at least want the charge skill on the mini lord to be true so he can do something after summoned because the slow walking speed and sword slashing animation is sooo slow

Her ult needs a buff. Bring the relocation feature back so the knight doesn’t die immediately, or make it tankier and deal more damage. Apart from that, I’m honestly a fan of her revamp. I didn’t like her before but I do now. Her skills feel better, and she looks better.

The new vex was so fun to play, can easily interupted enemy during fight, help tank damage for your team, as example, change attack, selena stun, or even granger ulti
You can save your teammate with s1 but overall only s1 and s2 better and the ult uhm sometime useless sometime not
I played her and the biggest problem that I noticed was that her knight is so slow, the constant nerfs make him practically useless after the cc (if he actually survives, he dies like a minion during crowded teamfights). Long story short, ult bad.

Ice Queen Wand can't be procced by the knight. And Moonton decided to remove the ability to reposition the knight before she was released in the original server which is sad.
