I used the Costco auto program thinking as a female senior citizen, I would not be taken advantage of. Not so. The dealer never showed me the Costco "invoice". While I'm signing loan papers, the finance guy is chatting me up about his life, his adult children, his dog, the loss of his wife, pictures of his home. Next day, I go through papers to find the Star link password and realize I signed for engraving, nitrogen tires, and 63 months instead of 60 at a higher interest rate. Shame on me for buying into hype that I would be dealing with honest people just because they are affiliated with Costco

Oh my! I'm sorry to hear that, but appreciate that you took the time to share with others. If it was recent, I would suggest that you give feedback to Costco Auto Program as they use that information in determining what dealers get to be (or remain) a participating dealer. It sounds like the one you had needs to go.
