The pearlescent effect is easily achievable, the skinmaker just has to turn up the effect. I had a look myself and it wasn't hard, but I'm not sure why valve would change it
Yeah the pearlescent effect changed from CSGO to CS2 most likely because of the new engine. It doesn’t effect white parts of a skin like it used to which is strange. It seems to look fine on every other color except like black

I only started playing cs after cs2 came out and when it comes to having or not having the pearlescent effect i actually think it looks better without it. Its a way cleaner black and white look than when it has pearlescense. It works really good with black and white skin loadouts, if the pearlescent effect were added back it'd change how it looks drastically. Also very nice vid btw.
damn actually a rly good video about skins without crappy voiceover and shitty inspect animations for once. That chromatic aberration effect on the rotating 3d models at the begining fit the printstream skins perfectly and the old TV visual was done rly well. The quick cuts and music choice were spot on and the script contains a lot of information without any padding. Liked and subbed with a hunger for more vids like these. You could make one for Asiimov (+tec9 Isaac ofc) or mayb Faceit skins idk xd
I think i am one of the very few that really enjoy the pure white on the cs2 print stream because it is so clean with gloves and other white skins i think it would potentially ruin crafts that have been made since cs2 was released including ones i have personally made i understand the want for it to be reverted but i had only bought it since the change to white. prinstream ak would probably the highest selling skin in cs2 if it were to get released
I love the amount of work that you put into this video, but I'd love if you'd tone it down with the TV/Static effect as well as the flickering, made me think something was wrong with my monitor there :D!

I’ve never heard that before. They couldn’t have lost the Print Stream file because the loss of the pearlescent has nothing to do with that. The effect itself changed from CSGO to CS2

Search CS2 Workshop on google and there is a guide that will help you get started. You can use blender, 3D Coat or Substance Painter to texture ur skin. Idk how familiar you are with 3d software but that’s where I would start

Search CS2 Workshop on google and there is a guide that will help you get started. You can use blender, 3D Coat or Substance Painter to texture ur skin. Idk how familiar you are with 3d software but that’s where I would start
