    Great film, JJB. Thanks for this. I was 14 that year and remember these iconic scenes of Glasgow very well - especially the Barras!

    It’s always the slums you see ! I came from a lovely part of Glasgow. We we’re comfortable, not everyone was from a deprived area

    I was born in 1962 @number 7 marquis street.moved to Barrowfield 1968/9,been there since.

    that architecture swings from Dickensian to brutal East German. Ouch!

      Being raised in Glasgow and Cumbernauld is why I have a penchant for Communist-era Eastern European architecture.
