I'm going to say something controversial. Shepherd's pie. When you put some cheese on the top of the potato and pop it in the oven. 15 minutes later you have that pie that is transformed into something golden and delicious and so much more than it was before it went in. I guess some purists may say that cheese has no place on shepherd's pie and flame me with their higher reason and argue that the mash crisps up perfectly well without any other complications. Anyway the point is, cooking the layers and putting it all together takes the time, the last few minutes in the oven works the final magic. Gavin you have been in the oven, the elements are all so together now,;synths, bass and a brilliantly constructed video. The slide bass is the focal point and the pure drama of the piece. It just shows us what a creative and inventive musician you are. You have been slaving in the kitchen with raw ingredients and making great meals but now the front of house dishes are here. Cannot wait for the rest of the album because you have suddenly changed up a gear. Love this track!

It certainly has felt like a long time putting it all together, so hearing that you have enjoyed the results really mean a lot.
