This is my first time doing a one year update home tour video on youtube because I've never lived in a place for longer than one year in the entire time that I've been making videos. How crazy is that?!
I moved into this downtown loft last year + showed you guys when the empty apartment tour / room tour right when I moved in as well as my office tour / when I moved my furniture around / moved my bed room upstairs but I haven't shown you it all together /how it's been decorated or how it's been finished! I always have more projects in mind, but for now this space is pretty much how I plan on keeping it. Most of the furniture in here I've had for the last few years [I only purchase pieces that I truly enjoy / want to invest in so I can re use them for years and apartments to come] I added on this year with the addition of my office space / new desk area, but other than that most of the pieces I have I've continued to use.

I don't understand why people say things like "needs some color" in a way that makes it sound that she forgot to add color or as a tip for her to use. not everyone likes color and if she wanted color in her loft, she would add some.

+Laura Virzì I remember her saying in a video she felt pressured for awhile into adding a pop of color in her outfits but then realized she feels the most comfortable and confident in her neutrals so she stopped trying to add color just to please others. Everyone has their own preferences :)

This loft is goals. I love the color theme and the style of this home. This house is my home goals. My mom like weird things and loves to fill up every single wall space with decor. I cannot wait until I can get my own studio apartment/ loft when i am in college and getting started. I love your home and this is just goals 😍😍
For all the people who are dreaming you can have an apartment like this. If you notice it is all about the decorating. Choose a color pallet and stick to it though out your apartment. Her pallet is grey and creams. If you notice it is all she used. Some people try to decorate with to many colors and too much clutter which she don't have. That's the key I have been doing this for years and every one loves my home. So remember get a color pallet of two colors only use them for you entire house and for get the clutter keep it nice neat and clean and you can have a beautiful home to.

This scores a 10. Love this loft! Great entryway, layout and decor. Perfect area for the office. Lovely kitchen, dining table and chairs. Great style and use of accessories. The bedroom was perfect, dreamy and practical. LUX life.

This is how the apartment/loft/dorm tours should be. Her's is rather spacious yet only five minutes whereas some ten square feet dorm rooms have fifteen minute videos...I don't get it.

I watch room/apartment/house tour videos all the time. I'm amazed at how messy the rooms are, how some TH-camrs focus on pieces in the room instead of the actual room. And let's not even talk about the cheap looking furniture and decor. Gasp! Don't get me wrong, it's okay to have stuff you didn't pay a lot for but it is not, and I repeat NOT okay for it to look cheap. Lot's of people just don't seem to get the point of a tour. You, my dear, get it. And thank you.
