Bold choice Mr Tizzle to have The Manticore as the undisputed best weapon in Destiny 2. I don’t know how others will feel about it, but I like your confidence!
There’s certainly better uses for your exotic slot, but with its buffs manticore can actually be pretty decent, as at the very least it’s a funnelweb with better stats and a 40% damage buff against red bars.
@@abyssal_beans I use Manticore because of it's more unique playstyle that it opens up. But it's power output doesn't feel as consistent as other Exotic primaries. Feels kind of like using a Legendary weapon with the benefit of the Exotic passives lol.
Verglas Curve is seriously underrated. The bow has so much synergy with stasis subclasses, it can do a lot more through stasis crystals, like ability regeneration, damage mitigation, recovery, improving general performance via stat buffs, champion stunning via shatter and provide cover.

Final warning is an absolute monster, as is Devil's Ruin. Massive dmg machines, when played correctly with specific builds around them. For context, Final warning does more damage then a heavy machine gun..... with heavy ammo.... So does Devil's Ruin laser shots. Paired with a cascade rapid frame GL, and a rapid fire shotgun with cascade point, I am annihilating adds and bosses. Strand, solar, so unravel or phoenix gun ignites. Serious sleeper builds....
I just brought verglas into a solo coil and I was definitely impressed. Tons of crowd control with iceflare bolts and the initial freeze, and it only takes one crystal shattering to start a chain reaction and destroy an entire group. Even without the artifact mods I though it was pretty good in stasis warlock. Plus the +40% damage boost let me one shot most red bars from a distance. Looking forward to seeing how it performs with any stasis changes and whatever “frost armor” ends up being.
Personally as an M&K player, Final Warning takes my #1 slot instead of Quicksilver. The damage it outputs if you can land charged headshots is absolute insanity, even potentially out-damaging many heavy weapons. Its biggest issue is the range, but thats remedied by just having a long range weapon in your other slot
Im kinda sad hierarchy of needs isnt on the list. That bow has made me forget about both my special and heavy weapons on multiple occasions. Though I cant argue with the reasoning for the list you gave. Thanks for the great content!
I love Hierarchy, but it's really bad in run-and-gun sections, which is an increasing amount of content in D2. You'd never bring it to a dungeon for instance.
I disagree. I bring it to every piece of content. And the only content I've had issues in is with moving objectives. So mainly just opening encounters of some end game content. And even then, you can just manage your rings slightly and always have one ready for the next short fight. Spire of the watcher is probably the worst dungeon for it but even then, pausing to clear adds then moving again isn't terrible. It's just not optimal in that specific dungeon.
I have to say, sunshot is so much better then quicksilver storm.. It literally annihilates champions and ads without problems. Sometimes even with only one mag!
As a ad clearing weapon yes its better but its does not hit harder vs champs. Thats a solid fact that can be proven. The tracking rockets do a decent amount of damage on top of the bullets and the grenade launcher mode deals about 50k to 60k per shot. Its a primary weapon with a built in special weapon
La Monarque remains my go-to and favorite exotic bow, but it is best for dps (by bow standards), and still absolutely shreds in PvP! Especially Momentum control you one shot everyone lol. I just shoot you then disengage, because the poison finished the job lol. My favorite are players that run away. They run away, get around a corner to wait to heal, then die lol Edit: Malfeasance definitely needed an official spot here lol. I see it used everywhere in high level PvE content atm, more than ever! Given the season artifact and intrinsic champion perk, it is an all around dps monster, even a great primary dps alternative when out of heavy and special. I don’t think anyone’s actually given it a serious shot since it came out, but its exotic perk could easily be a stasis grenade, and you get it from a single kill. Just don’t use it with whisper of fissures, something in the spaghetti code stops you from procing the perk off a frozen target when you have the fragment equipped, probably because it gives shatter a second damage instance.
I'm really shocked you didn't put Tommy's matchbook on here or just as an honorable mention.
