  • This is the AMT 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup Truck. This is a stock build except for the wired distributor. The paint is Anita's Cafe Au Lait acrylic paint and it was cleared with Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear Lacquer.

I think that came out really nice. I like that color too. I have had mixed results painting body's with the craft paint, I never seem to be able to get the sine I want. Maybe I will try it again and get some of that gloss coat your using. Have a great day. -David

Thanks man. Pretty much all craft paint goes on with a dual matt finish. It does get the shine until you hit it with some clear coat.

Zippi I think this came out awesome! Very surprised with how your glass went for ya, on mine the front was fine but boy the rear was pretty tricky to get it well enough to leave. Again great job sir

Zippi. Round 2 has Done Great With Correcting kit Flaws like the Old Glass Fitment All Tri-Five pickup Cabs had This Cameo Bed isn't For a Beginner it's Fiddly n Takes Care to Assemble Well. The Hood Has Too Wide Good to Correct too. We need to Thank Round 2 on their Efforts to Correct Flaws in kits and Enhance parts in kits like the Go Cart in 60 Chevy or The 32 Imperial with the Henderson Motorcycle as Examples

Truck looks great. Have you tried metal tape? It’s thicker but it doesn’t have a problem with sticking. I use both types. I’m still new to this though. There are some videos out there on it. Thanks for the video 😎👍
