One time I was live streaming this mod on twitch and waited till 1921 and France nor Germany started ww1

Let's make an unnecessarily complicated extra mod that gives Austria Hungary difficult to navigate true to life government mechanics like never before.

With like 40 'unstable local government' events per month
if you think this is difficult, you should've seen ottoman empire in this mod

debt mechanics, all the debuffs you have to take care, not to mention minority management is broken on most and if you go for Sultan and pick the minority focuses, you end up having 20% attrition throughout the Balkans without a chance of removing them.
on top of that, you get 3 coups during the balkan war, and sometimes it fucks up the sultan path (i.e., the saviour officer coup and raid on sublime porte remove him from power without the ability to bring him back).
compared to this shitshow, AUH's mechanics seem very easy to manage

I think Alex forgot that Franz was killed in Hungary while trying to be coronated in this timeline
I recommend playing with Italy set to join Central Powers, that way they can trigger the war with France in case of Serbian fiasco somewhere around 1915. (even when tension is 0%)
France also has a possibility of getting war goals against Germany without world tension, but from my experience they tend to declare war 1916 the earliest, and once i had to wait until they literally did everything on their god damn focus tree (which was around 1921)
Personally I feel like if Austria is in the path to join the Entente, Russia's AI should feel more inclined to join with the Central powers. Historical significance aside, it would definitely make an interesting game
Also Italy would likely stay loyal to the Central Powers since they wanted Austrian territories.

Didn't Italy join the entente t fight Austria Hungary? Wouldn't they have joined the central powers in this world?
If you somehow puppet Germany as Austria, you will get an option that allows you to form the German confederation, which gives you cores on all of Germany. Then after some time, you will also be able to form the Holy Roman Empire. It's really fun, it's however extremely difficult to get a puppet on them (atleast it is for me).
i found it funny that after you conquered bulgaria and turkye, france took all of the land, as well as you recieving nothing in the armistice

Dude, Italy joining the Entente in this timeline makes zero sense. Logically, they would have joined the Central Powers to acquire Austro-Hungarian and possibly even French territory

Why would Italy still join the Entente? They wanted Austrian land, so shouldn't they always join against Austria? Same with Romania...
They would lose if they joined the central powers
