- Drifting in Live for Speed PC game with steering wheel in todays live for speed 2022 PC gameplay! Playing in 4K resolution with max graphic settings using a Re-shade graphics preset.
Drifting a bmw e36 mod which is available to download from the in-game live for speed mods page. (Mods can now be downloaded in game with an S3 license of live for speed.)
This is my second time ever playing Live for speed. Its a really great game and the devs are still supporting with updates and content. The physics are amazing and I would describe them as a slightly more forgiving assetto (Other than you not being able to disable tyre wear!). The sense of speed is great and the engine sounds just make it even better for some fun skids!
You can download a free Live for speed demo first to test your pc requirements and get a feel for the game.

Good old times when drifting on this game with the logitech driving force gt back then. Didnt expect that i would see some lfs drifting again its nice to watch!!
Same for me, I missed this sim! Happy to see car mods now, just learned about it today and downloaded the latest version. Gonna kill a ton of time trying out so many new cars!
i played this when it first came out with my keyboard and using mouse for steering, pro mouse drifter, thrustmaster sim setup now

Live For Speed still has one of the best Physics of any racing Game... And now with mods and soon a graphics Update, its still awesome
A graphics update?
the physics are not good, compared to assetto corsa for example its too arcady. the game engine is very old, very badly optimised=low fps and bad graphics. I don't understand why people play it today

and i can play with 120 FPS. you can make push start, drift and a Lot of things. the game is not good for racing but he have one of the best physics.
@@example795 ahahahah you're hilarious, it runs in every kind of potato plus not even close to arcade physics actually the very opposite, pure simulation, u'll say forza has better physics? :'D , the only downside is about drifting with hot tyres it turns ice and only that really, but they're working on it, slowly cuz people prefered crack version for a long time and devs (only 3) got no money to continue working on it and launch other nice updates. Now with the latest updates it has an big amount of a variety of mods (addons in-game with beamng kinda style) with "real cars" and specs, and much more people playing it too. U can now even drive a motorcycle or even eletric scooters or cars for example.

Oh damn, I just remembered back that Live for speed is a very good game, that has great force feedback, and is possible to run even on cheap 7 year old laptop
Well to be fair, the ffb is decent, it tells you about the front grip, but when on dirt or grass it's like Gran Turismo ffb, smooth track.
Still it's pretty good for very old racing game that I love playing it.

Is a it actually became an outdated game (unfortunately, it was my dream to play replay since I was 11 years old(now i have 18), and now it ended up basically going bankrupt, hardly any servers or anything...)

This is LFS? Holy crap, looks completely different. The mods really took off. I remember working with the group to bring out some of the first few, starting with car modifications to full on different cars. So happy to see how far it has gone. Amazing.

Good to see they rescued the game with help of track extentions and mod cars, I loved racing on LFS but the community back in 2008 became almost non existent. This was by far the most accurate and realistic simulator out there
I remember me failing drifting in this with my brand new G25 back in the day after coming from Test Drive Unlimited!
I'm considering downloading LFS again, last time i player i think it was 2017, really forgot this pearl.
And this crash physics tho... incredible.

yo, when this game first came out i used to play it with keyboard and use mouse for steering, could use the parking lot map to make custom tracks with cones and barriers, was awesome back in the day

Its not realistic (destruction wise), but its better than assetto. Here a little crash wont end your race, it might even improve your lap time lol.

LFS have been used for drifting since 2007. It used to be the main drifting sim before Assetto Corsa came out. So it's not really that crazy.
