I needed to do about 4 - 6 runs to the deep lava cave to get any where between 8 to 24 dark crystals and I found the dark crystals mostly in the main lava cavern and not in the beginning chambers.
31:50 the repair bolts you used had a health bar that were going down. Just like how meat and veggies have a health bar. The bolts had a dark blue health bar. That looks like the indicator.

The longest / hardest part is the black crystal. Spawn rate is kinda low down in the lava cave. Then the construction of ATV parts eats lots of power. Like 10.0 per part so warm up your generators, stock up on bio fuel. BTW, wolves run from the ATV, bears will knock you off of it and you can run over and squish rabbits.
Coldgames needs to put in missions or something instead of relying solely on major grinding to get a new item to keep players interested. We love the game but we’ve got kids. It’s going to take forever to find the time to grind all these materials and God forbid we damage the vehicle 😂 the freedom of the game is being lost for me because now I have to make sure I’m bringing home tons of materials every day. There may as well just be quests and stuff at this point.
this is way too exspensive all that Cave diving and boring collection - what a let down after waiting 4 months. and crazy power consumption what was the guy thinking

Could u use steps to get down the ledge? Rather than use climbing axe

I think the ATV will make getting around faster but you’ve got to watch out to make sure it isn’t damaged when in fights with hunters and rogues!
