So many classic characters. Beyond the classics like Fred and Vera, whom I miss so much, I miss Ashley - Corrie has so much dead weight and he's the one they got rid of. That's when I knew Phil Collinson was going to be bad news for Corrie. Now it's unrecognizable.
What the actor said as to why he was leaving it (who was Fred) said instead of going for well known actors and actresses go for struggling ones is why he left
Yeah I know but I just find it a bit lazy that they went for the final one before 60. If Rita actually knew that he was about 60 and said "he can't have been much older 60" then it would make alot more sense, but other wise the scene just seems really bland and thought of at the last minute.
