The Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum (original) had 2 main characters with grey shade character portrayal..
Even the tittle of the Malayalam version was named after the two main characters but Bheemla Nayak (the remake) is shown as Clearly a War between Black and White !! And tittle is named only after only one character : Pawan Kalyan character Bheemla Nayak !!

Cringe review reaction for an apt perfect remake world is celebrating the trailer and even certain original audience have felt that the trailer is fine and they have enhanced mass with theater moments but still its raw and grounded and there wasn't any over the top stunt to b frank it was stylised and grounded and it is rooted to A.P so it ll b perfect........rana as Daniel sekar has equal space and he is not treated as an antagonist and marketing wasn't done that way ok he is also another powerful character just bcos in the title the other character name is not there that doesn't mean he is undermined infact in few scenes he is elevated to next level than bheemla so don't judge a book by its cover

What makes Ayyapanum Koshiyum better is the less bad action sequences.
Music director Taman promised he would deliver a mass bgm and music for this movie (He composed for pawan kalyan's previous movie vakeel saab). As to keep the excitement for audiance he intentionally gave some low score in trailer as main and masss 🔥🔥🔥🔥 music will be delivered in theatre which would make fans go crazy

Even Im a huge fan of Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
But the reason for such trailer is that the Makers of the film suddenly decided the release date of the film, so there is obviously very less time for the post production work and especially for the trailer cut and sound mixing. And even the trailer release was delayed by an hour yesterday.
But other than trailer, all songs, previously released glimpse and other movie works looked really interesting and promising.
So Hope the fim does well on 25th of Feb.🔥🙏

He's not a gangster or a villain, the two characters have an ego clash, and they fight each other, thats it.

Malayalam movie is a classic. But, at the end of the day, it's a face off drama between two strong characters. What gets elevated more in such films is the screenplay and the performances. In Malayalam, you had two strong performers in Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon. Even then, the viewers will get a bit restless after a certain point (I know it's a face off, I know both the characters are good in their own way, but I need a breaking point for this deadlock).
The issue with the Telugu remake is that Pawan Kalyan is not just any actor. He's a star and now a politician too. It's not enough to cut a trailer which gives a glimpse of the story. Fans expect more.
Also as someone already pointed out, this could just be some last minute work to put up a trailer as the release was advanced.
What I eventually want from this remake is that the soul of the original be retained. Rest of it could be here and there (local flavor, light hearted moments etc).
I request Malayalis to stay away from this as it will definitely not make sense to them after watching the original.
Pawan Kalyan and Rana are good performers, but I'm sure they won't be able to do as much justice as Prithvi or Biju did in the original. There are many reasons including how the director conceived it in Telugu. So, peace be with everyone.

Hi Jaby and Achara, thank you for your honest opinion on the trailer. I specifically wait for your reactions because you're one of the very few who genuinely react. Rest all just keep "wowing" around to please the Indian audience. Your opinion on this trailer pretty much matched with mine when I watched it. These are two HUGE stars coming together but the trailer did not have the "bang" feeling. So your opinion was spot-on.
About why the trailer came out so late - Telugu Film Industry has been facing a crisis back in India. Before 2014, all Telugu-speaking people belong to one state "Andhra Pradesh" but then due to a lot of political issues, the state was divided into two. We now have "Telangana", that's where Hyderabad is, and we have Andhra Pradesh. **Sorry, had to give you the background**. So the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (like a Senator in the US) decided to cut down all the movie-ticket prices by a very high margin. They reduced the prices by 80-90% and that took a huge toll on the Industry that makes very "BIG BUDGET BLOCKBUSTERS". Government was upset that actors are being paid way more than they should. Anyway, as this was taking a hit on the budgets, releases of most of the telugu films like RRR, Radhe Shyam, Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Bheemla Nayak have been postponed (they were supposed to release in Jan). Recently, a few big stars in the industry have met the Cheif Minister and requested the Government to get back the older ticket-costs. And now that the Government agreed, these movies are being lined-up one after the other. So I'm guessing Bheemla Nayak's team did not have much time to really edit and release the Trailer before release (they should have been prepared, I know).

I felt the exact same way about the punchiness of the trailer. But if u you ping watch the original movie, it’s very grounded. I think they wanted to retain the “grounded-ness” of the original. But I still like it.

As a malayali, I support this film in Telugu.Everyone wish to see good films with their favorite stars and in their mother tongue. So no point in comparing.Afterall what is the point of selling remake rights.. It is to remake right?
Then why don't they write a script on their own to make their audience happy. What's the need of ruining a good film. A remake's purpose is to translate the soul of the movie to different audience. It doesn't necessarily be a scene-by-scene remake. The essence and what the audience will take away from the film is what makes a remake good. It's clear that this AK is remade only to grab cash, there's no intention of paying a homage to the original or trying to translate the soul of the movie here

Pawan Kalyans presence, his charisma and everything is just entertaining to watch. For example, I thought vakeel Saab was an average meh movie but the presence of Pawan Kalyan elevated that movie. He’s a good actor, that’s why he’s been able to do this for 25 years. But more than that it’s his presence on screen that I like. Whether or not I’ll like his movie I’ll always like him in the movie, if that makes sense. And it helps he’s a really good simple person off screen
