Watch behind-the-scenes footage, including the 1968 Emmy win, unscripted moments and outtakes with guests, including Flip Wilson, James Garner, Johnny Carson, Tiny Tim and more!
Hosted by Dan Rowan and Dick Martin, this groundbreaking sketch comedy show was a fast-moving barrage of jokes, one-liners, running skits, and musical numbers. The groundbreaking, Emmy Award-winning show, created by George Schlatter, premiered in January, 1968 and ran until March, 1973.
A group of regulars including Goldie Hawn, Lily Tomlin, Jo Anne Worley, Ruth Buzzi, Arte Johnson, Henry Gibson, Judy Carne, Alan Sues, Chelsea Brown, and Gary Owens--plus frequent guests like Barbara Feldon, Flip Wilson and Don Rickles left a lasting impression on America.
Celebrities from tv, film, sports, and politics all made appearances on Laugh-In. Memorable appearances include Michael Caine, Carol Burnett, Johnny Carson, Carol Channing, Wilt Chamberlain, Cher, Tim Conway, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr., Hugh Hefner, Richard M. Nixon, Debbie Reynolds, Don Rickles, Peter Sellers, Dinah Shore, Ringo Starr, and so many more.

So this is the Season 1 blooper party reel!

This is wonderful-thank you for uploading this! On the behalf of probably many people, I’m grateful that you and Clown Jewels are openly sharing these important archival materials! Quick question: If this party tape and the blooper reel you previously posted are separate film tapes, where exactly did the Gladys and Tyrone (with Don Rickles) blooper tape come from? How many blooper films are there, anyway? Thanks again! :)
You're very welcome! As you can imagine it's no small task to go through these libraries and figure out what's what, what's been posted, what is approved to post, etc. We're really trying to find new ways to present the material and bring whatever new stuff we have to the party! These last couple blooper reels are exactly as they were labeled--Party Reels, for the cast and crew end of season parties. The Don Rickles bloopers were just sitting on a reel of their own before the box set came into existence. There are many duplicate versions of blooper reels, so we're going through them slowly but surely!
😆It's always special when I see a Laugh-In blooper clip I've never seen before. I've always wondered if there's any footage of the hijinx going on behind the Joke Wall. That would be a riot. Thanks a whole bunch for posting these gems. 💖👍

i have a lower quality one without the timecode, but this is still cool! 6:06 also there is a cut here. After this clip johny carson says "James Garner has signs of homosexuality" and James comes back behind johny and says in a feminine tone "heavens no"

This was the late 60's video videotape was cheaper. Why don't they preserve the outtake in video tape?
Then and now, videotape just lacks quality and vibrancy.
Also, back then they really thinking about preservation. And they certainly didn’t think anyone would want to see their outtakes!
