Passion needs to update the MEV, the typos and mistakes, such as translating rereward from the KJV as reward in the MEV. If they do it, then we will know they plan to support it long term. I read it and like it, would love to see churches move to it as their congregational Bible

I love the fact that this Bible was made and it is sourced from the KJV and those manuscripts but I was disappointed that they used the word (replenished) in Genesis 1:28. In modern english the word means to (refill) in the KJV time it meant to simply (fill) from what the Oxford English Dictionary say. If its modern english we should have to be worried about going back to see what the words meant in THERE time. Even th NIV and ESV and meaning more go it right but this Bible didn't. :(

The MEV is really a great version to read. As good as the KJV in terms of authenticity but with modern English of course.

Most newer translations remove verses that the KJV has.

I like the MEV as far as Textus Receptus bibles go. For critical versions, the ESV or CSB are just fine. You can get the same doctrine from all of them.

I came to know from some source that ESV is better version compared to others and more accurate. If ESV is satisfactory how is this bible better.

ESV is thought-for-thought as is NIV and NLT. KJV NKJV NASB and MEV are word-for-word. More literal and less room for translator bias, in my opinion. There are stronger arguments.

No ESV is a literal translation as well. It is the underlying text that makes them different. ESV is translated using modern textual criticism and the MEV is translated from the Textus Receptus(same as the KJV and NKJV)
