I never thought much about the lyrics until watching this video. I was so surprised and, honestly, over the moon to hear that the opening of the song is linked to Ysayle (
A version of it is used in association with the WoL. Technically Soken refers to The Maker's Ruin as the WoL theme, but since that is made of the same motif it would be fair to say so.
@@TheEorzeanArchives ok ok yeah that makes sense, especially since I generally associated Maker’s ruin with bosses and so forth but canonically speaking, Torn from the Heavens makes a lot more sense to be the WoL’s theme
