- BE INSPIRED- WHAT WOULD THE JABULANI HERD DO?
2020 has been one of the most challenging years in history. It sometimes hard to remain positive.
We put together some clips from the Jabulani HERD - hoping that at least one of the elephant's strengths will inspire you in some small way. Every day we learn something from these incredibly sentient animals.
The World has changed. Plans have changed. The Future has changed. Tourism as we know it has come to a full and unexpected stop. The majority of our lodge bookings for the year ahead have cancelled and international travel from our most supportive markets continues to be restricted.
But our responsibilities at Jabulani remain unchanged.
First and foremost, the livelihoods of fifteen elephants and thirty of their carers remain in our hands, above and beyond our lodge staffing support teams.
Our lodge operations not only ensure the safety, care and provisions for the herd and their care team, but we also help contribute towards the new elephant orphanage operations, HERD - Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development. We are in tough times, especially with the immediate and longterm future of the travel industry being in jeopardy.
We would like to remind our guests, both past and future, and our loyal followers, know that there are opportunities to foster one of the Jabulani herd, to assist with their ongoing costs.

Perhaps you are celebrating a loved one's birthday and are unable to make a trip to the local shop due to the current pandemic. Why not foster an elephant in their name, and contribute to something meaningful during these hard times? We will create a beautiful certificate in their name to email them directly on your behalf.
Be part of the Jabulani Herd's journey in 2020; while you may not be able to visit in person, you can make a difference to their wellbeing from afar.

I feel the same way. The herd is My Sanctuary away from the Troubles of our country. Before I do anything else in the morning I check out the herd to see what is going on. They make my heart light

One of the most endearing video of the Herd which I watched.
Each Elephant is beautiful. It was wonderful to find out about their personalities and inspiring us / me.
God created elephants and said "They are good." He made each one unique. Their foot print, personalities, character and appearance are all unique, just as each human is unique.
Everytime I watch a Herd video, I thank my Lord for creating these magnificent animals ❤❤❤ and for Him to bless The Herd and each loving, exceptional person who lovingly cares for the elephants. I ask, in Jesus name, to meet ALL the needs that are required to run The Herd. Amen in Jesus poweful name. ❤❤❤ and plenty of hugs.
