- The Panjo Building.
Construction started on the Panjo Play-centre in 2007 but due to the GFC work stopped a short while after.
In 2009 construction started again.
By 2013 Panjo was sold with a permit for developers to give the building another chance and bring it a step closer to completion.
However... again Panjo was put back on the market in 2017.

I used to work at a factory hundred metres away across the road further down from it. A bloke doing work there told me it would never open when it was still being built.
Finally, been so curious about this structure for years, would see it everyday coming to and from work for ages.
Always been tempted to go inside, but now I know.
Lived out that way for over 8 yrs now and it still stands there abandoned. Pretty sad really.
I remembered I was told this was originally where they were gonna put a factory outlet until they decided to build it in Queens St (which closed years ago)

Drive past this all time when visiting my parents. It just gets more and more frustrating to see as the years go by. Just knock it down and put apartments there. Atleast the area is gonna be used somehow
I went there today on the 25/1/22 and unfortunately it’s getting worse. Most of the lights were off and stupid me forgot a torch so I had to resort to my iPhone light and the water has gotten a little higher not to much as it was before. There was a LOT of glass everywhere you went and it really just seemed eerie and kinda gave me a bad vibe. The pool and ice rink etc were still the same not to much I guess just more graffiti but like I said 95% of the lights have gone off so they must’ve been left on and the bulbs must’ve just shit themselves. I also heard a lot of noises and every now and then I would hear what would appear to be footsteps walking behind me but it was just me in the building. All the floors were just nothing except for the bird shit. The top floor was just all broken up but it was a nice view towards the city. The car park was spray paint galore, there were so many spray paint cans if I put them all in a pile together it would’ve easily been a 100 cans. Some weren’t empty so I left my mark and date lmao. I will definitely go back in the future to see if it has gotten worse but I hope they do something with it soon because I would love to see this place open up one day it would really make a nice addition to Campbelltown and would attract a lot of attention
If you don't mind, could you tell me where exactly you get into the building?
@@isbesterimages so you go behind the building and slip through the fence (as someone has cut a hole through it) and then go straight ahead to the main carpark entrance and then look right and there are a set of doors. The second one from the last door opens up and there is electrical shit in there and you just walk through the hallway and boom your in the building and when your done exploring you can just leave through there. The stairs can be a pain in the ass but it’s worth it for the exploration if your up for it. I didn’t worry about cops to much and if they do come there is a dozen places to hide in that building but yeah I don’t thinks cops are a problem

@@ryanschacht_ I went there the other day, me and all my friends had the same bad feeling and we all heard footsteps, it’s a lot worse now no of the logs work except for the car park now and there is just a sheer drop in the elevator shaft

Wow, thanks for doing this one, I always wondered about it as I drove past. Such a shame it was never finished, would have been a brilliant addition to the area. I do wonder, with all theses abandoned builds with electricity turned on, who pays the bill?

The owners are probably in debt for the bill and its just piling up
Often they leave the power on in case of the 'accidental' fire.
It’s a shame that this place never opened it would have been good for the kids in the area
I live in Campbelltown and I always thought this was just some factory also I have heard rumours that someone committed suicide in there and it is haunted

Used to be a furniture shop before going out of business. I suppose changed hands to Panjo and never got off the ground.
So sad to see someone's dream come to this. The millions put into this and then an abrupt stop, then vandalism...
Went here a few days ago, such a shame since most of the walls have been kicked out and vandalised and non of the lights work so it’s a little creepy

@anthony panzarino I would like to know more about this building maybe even restart this build. Who do I speak to, I am the founder of Flip Out 8 years ago and over 100 openings I can get this open. How many 10's of millions of dollars were wasted on building this but never finished. It would make a nice museum or cultural centre for the state govenment instead of making a whole new building.It is coneniently placed very near Campbeltown.
