I hate when people say you NEED these products or have to do this THIS way for your hair to grow and be healthy... Everyone's hair is different and let's be honest, sometimes they use so many things at once that one doesn't do what it's suppose to for your specific hair but they wouldn't know cause maybe some other product on the list doing what that one should be doing etc... I take care of my natural hair like you. I add oil and water to my hair when it needs it, a oil to my scalp and edges more often but I honestly wash my hair when I feel like I haven't in a while. That could be 2 or 3 months lol and people always tell me I have growing hair. I still cut all my hair off every 2 years and by the end of that time it's a big puff when pulled up but maintaining loose natural hair is a trip with the combing and time to style it then anything can make it look crazy again but relaxed hair is crazy when there's mixed texture of new growth and relaxed ends (you know right in-between is very brittle so you have to be gentle or it breaks smh). I'm thinking to loc my hair but I cut it off in August AGAIN so I have 2 more months wait before I can twist it.
Can you give me some tips on how to start my locs please I been thinking bout starting dreads for the longest and I think I’m ready to star the journey is there anything I should first

I started my loc journey today!!! So I'll be on this journey with you, a few months behind! I started for both low maintenance and spiritual reasons.

What kind of water do you use?
regular tap water!
@@TayBrice I used to use regular tap water & I saw videos where people were saying it isn’t good for the hair so I switched to distilled water.
Hmmm okay I’ll have to try that & see if it makes a difference!
