I've a S20 FE 5G, Purchased on April 2nd, 2021. I considered upgrading to S23 FE or S24, but the Exynos chipsets are putting me off. So, will wait till April to see how these phones hold up in the Indian summers and then upgrade.
Benchmarks are good to understand how capable a chipset is, but what matters is the performance on regular usage, like 1. Getting warmer than usual on usage 2. Heating up while charging 3. Throttling on usage 4. Closing up apps due to throttling. If they can fix all these issues, then Exynos can be used in flagships. Else, it isn't worth it!
I have seen a trend when it comes to samsung exynos processor they perform well initially then as the time passes they degrade a lot like i had a samsung s21 plus which always ran hot even while doing simple tasks such as shifting from one app to another and inturn made phone ui laggy and choppy and it was the only reason that made upgrade to a s23 ultra so i say samsung should be bit less greedy and give snapdragon processor accross all three phones considering the premium price of the devices
I guess it is how exynos supposed to work. I have faced similar issue in 2 low budget samsung phones. Their chipset quality degrade quickly like within 8months to an year's range
Using S20 plus ( 4G - Exynos 990 ) for almost 4 years now :) Happy with the phone and camera performance except the battery drain and intermittent heating issues.
Benchmark scores were never an issue buddy🤦♂️. Hardly anyone could tell the diff in daily usage between the two. The main issue was battery backup in the long run. I've been using an Exynos in my S20+ for past 3 years and I would not recommend them no matter what benchmark scores say.
I've been using an iPhone SE (1st gen) for past 5.5 years and I just changed my phone last week. Currently using Moto G54 which is cheaper than my previous phone. Everything feels like an upgrade except camera and haptics.
In comparison to S24, pixel 8 is not that worth it, always try to go for Snapdragon processors (as far as my opinion is concerned) as I have been using pixel 4a since October 2020, & it's still as snappy as any other phone right now, just that the battery life has reduced quite a bit (which is obvious), rest it's all your choice
Been a Samsung user for 10+ years now. But this thing that they do with forcing down Exynos on all their users from cost conscious to premium customers really disgusts me. My S10 is near it's end and I'm not gonna go for a S24 plus like I initially planned just for this reason.
Just like your cousin, I bought Samsung J18... That was the 1st phone that I bought with my salary....after 5 years I bought S23. I feel S24 is just S23 with AI. But all these AI features will come in S23 by June as promised by Samsung. Then why to buy S24?? I will still say, S23 is a better deal, as it doesn't have any heating issue like s22 and neither it comes with Exynos.
So buying one year upgrades are never worth it so if you have the S 23 definitely don’t buy the S 24 but if you have an S 20 or older phone then it’s a great upgrade
I was using S9+ for 4 years 😁 recently, switched to S23+ 😊. That's the longest time I have ever used, which shows quality of samsung 🤩 and never been to the service center.

Thanks for the review and the small test indicating performance, heat and battery. For me it comes down to batterylife, especially when being out and about constantly switching celltowers. The S22 with the Exynos 2200 did not even last a day when being outside, had horrible standby time and got the worst battery rating of all phones on dxomark ever. I fear the exynos 2400 might be fast but inefficient as well. So I'll wait. :)
Your cousin is as smart as me. I have been using my phone for 4 years one month now as of writing this comment. Realme XT. 8/128 variant. 😎 Best phone realme made under 20k and after that their downfall started in this segment so i won't upgrade untill i find a perfect replacement for this 😎

1. S 23 will get software updates for next year only and security updates for next four years, what will be the resell price of S 23 after three years, will people prefer to puchase S 23 after three years. 2. Is it possible to use the phone without software and security updates. 3. After how much long time years/months battery of S 24 will degrade as per your opinion 4. If I am getting S24 in the current price of S 23 should I purchase it or go for S 23 only
I appreciate you gave the much-needed attention to the regular S24, as most people who go to work collage gym travel etc. would not buy a bulky phone. 5.9 inch Zenfone 10 : 4300 mah
6 1 inch Xperia 5 v : 5000 mah
6.2 inch pixel 8 : 4575 mah
Battery..
New exynos will not have that problem.
💯
Exynos 990 was a bad chip that ruined exynos reputation. Before that exynos and flagship SD were on par with each other
Why pay so much just to do normal daily to day thing?
I've been using an iPhone SE (1st gen) for past 5.5 years and I just changed my phone last week. Currently using Moto G54 which is cheaper than my previous phone.
Everything feels like an upgrade except camera and haptics.
Ya but from like s20fe or smt it's better to get s24
I bought S24+...It's awesome.. Best Exynos Phone ever...Almost close to SD Gen 3
Don't know why Everyone didn't Criticise Pixel for thier Tensor chip. Tensor and Exynos are similar on paper. But everyone Criticise Exynos
iphone 6s bought it on launch day, still running strong.
For 5 + years have been using OnePlus 6T. Looking to change my phone. Thinking about S23, s24 or pixel 8. Will wait for the full review.
I have been using my OnePlus 6t since May 2019. Still works great beside some Face unlock bugs.
As long as Samsung supports it OS upgrade. IMO, one should upgrade only when there's a major (or else few decent) technical leaps.
Google should learn from Samsung. We don't get Google VPN, call screening, and a few more useful features that other markets get as they have been geo-locked by Google.
Congratulations 2m subscribers
When I see no more feature updates, that's around 3 years in Samsung before, that's when I change. Been using s9+, then s20fe, and now s23fe
Congratulations for 2million subscribers 🎉😊💪🎆💐🍰🍫🎇
You can basically buy 2 similarly powerful smartphones at the cost of 1 s24+
Absolutely right
7 years of update is just dope.
Thanks Google for this
I am Samsung S9 user from last 6 yrs and want to upgrade to S24+. No issues with s9 but I don't want to go for Exynos. Wait and Watch 😊
But camera performance takes a massive big fat L on exynos when compared to snapdragon one, and battery also takes a toll
Which one among these two would be the ideal pick right now? The S23 or the S24? In offline stores currently, S24 is only 10K more expensive than the last year's S23. Should we gamble and get the S24 over S23? I only have time till 28th Jan. Please help. 🙂
Go for S23 as it has Snapdragon processor
The post processing of the pictures clicked on S24 is better, they're saying. It's super confusing at this point. Hoping I don't regret not going for S24. 🤞 @@shivamkakkar27
Plz tell if I should go for s24 sd version or s23 ultra...im getting both for same price and I need to use a phone till 2030
@@syednizam6984 S24. it'll literally get updates up until 2031
....Congrats on hitting 20lakh subscribers-you guys are my go to tech channel so thanks for everything😀😀....
i am with s22 1 yr old and thought of changing to s23 and now this magic s24 has come. I will wait for price to come down and will buy it for 55k straight
CollabWiser is back
Scamwiser is back❤❤
i am still using my Samsung S10e, its been like 5 yrs still the display is great exynos has been good, and am considering the compact S24
Please do a long term review before Flipkart BBD
Congratulations bro it's 2M🎉
🎉 Congrats on 2 Million subscribers
I used my previous phone moto g4plus for 6 years and if it had got damaged physically, it would still have been my daily driver for probably another year. It still is being used for some other works by myself.
I used the PocoF1 from 2018 till recently when I got S23 Ultra in Oct of 2023...S27Ultra/Iphone19 is where I hope I will upgrade.
Lol cringe hate these "waiting for a future phone that isn't even out yet" comments
Changed my phone last month after 5 years to iphone 15 pro max from samsung galaxy S10 freakin loved both the phones🔥
I would like to use same phone for many years!
Congratulations for 2Mn TW family 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Keep up the good work 👍
Congratulations for 2 Million 🎉🎉
Great job! Hard to find an S24 review. Evreyone else is doing S24 ultra. Love your accent!
brother first of all amazing video, just like a wow😂. second of all can you please compare s23 and s24 cause i want to buy a new phone but am just gettikg confused between the 2
Been using my Poco F1 since last 5 years..still the OG with custom rom & kernel 🔥❤️
8:16 Me using 10k rs phone for 5yrs
I generally use my phone for about 2 years and then switch but this time I decided to stay with S22 Ultra and will continue to use it until it runs out of updates.
No issue with exynos?
It's 8 Gen 1, I would never go to Exynos even if I have to skip a year or I would just buy an Ultra phone@@eren5411
Had a OnePlus 5 for 5 years and now almost 2 with a iQoo 9 Pro. Both bought on release day. Buying an S24 today for my wife and hoping I get the exchange offers for a Pixel 4A that's rapidly dying.
Glad I bought S23 base last year. If I had to bought this year then I would have still gone for S23
😎 Best phone realme made under 20k and after that their downfall started in this segment so i won't upgrade untill i find a perfect replacement for this 😎
But is it worth spending so much when there is the threat of the green lines issue? Samsung didn't do anything about it for out of warranty consumers.
Watching it on my S23! 🙂
Before the S23, I had the Poco F1 from 2018. So, like your cousin, I've kinda used it for ~4.5 years and given it to my dad now who's been happy with it for an year and intends to use it for longer, lol!
In USA it's processor is snapdragon 8 gen 3 and in india exynos 2400.They did that just for business seriously.
Most creators are doing s24 and s24+ with Samsung's collaboration
And they can't bash openly
money
@@nirmalkumar7941what is their to bash? Price?
1. S 23 will get software updates for next year only and security updates for next four years, what will be the resell price of S 23 after three years, will people prefer to puchase S 23 after three years.
2. Is it possible to use the phone without software and security updates.
3. After how much long time years/months battery of S 24 will degrade as per your opinion
4. If I am getting S24 in the current price of S 23 should I purchase it or go for S 23 only
Most awaited video .. i was waiting for ur review 🫡🫡
I am still using my first phone Samsung A50.
I bought it in 2019 june or july probably.
Good to see your Quick Look of the S 24 and S 24+ as many of us don’t have the money or don’t want to carry a tablet in our pocket with the S 24ultra
It's not a review...it's a collab or in other words, a paid content
@@Abishek_1988 OK I switched it to quick look. Does that make you feel better?
@@jejunamja 😁😁😁😁
@@Abishek_1988 thanks man you have a great day😄.
I'm using the Samsung Galaxy A7 2016 model...
So that's a long 8 years ig 😅.
Pretty hard to manage with only 16gb uof internal, but somehow uses it 🙂
I appreciate you gave the much-needed attention to the regular S24, as most people who go to work collage gym travel etc. would not buy a bulky phone. S24+ can be ideal for many too, but not the S24 Ultra (Which most review focuses on). After using my LV30 for 6 year I bought S24 Regular and reviews was a daunting task.
If it is a collab then we cant trust you
I'm using poco f1 right now. Which i bought in October 2018 and this is still working fine 🤞
Why flagship phone makers will not give fast charging facility sir..
Hey @prathik even I have been using Poco F1 till date just a couple of days back switched to moto edge 40.. Great to know that people use phones for 5 years. I thought I was the only one 😢😢
Why didn't you talk about the wideband technology there in S24+ & ultra, while not there in S24 ?
My father used OnePlus 6T for 5 years.
I used OnePlus 2T for 3 years.
Currently I am using Motorola Moto Edge 20 since 2.5 years, and would like to use till its dead.
over time the itch to upgrade to a new phone has gone down.
Nice video👍 my OnePlus 6 with a battery replacement still working fine so I would say your cousin is ok😁
Oneplus 12 vs S24+ please
