So in some ways Canadians and Indians are brother-in-arms against JT. Won’t be unusual to see huge celebrations in both Canada and India when this government falls.

Trudeau, your immediate resignation is the first step in a very long healing process! Each day of your so-called governance compounds our national crisis and regresses Canada's progress. Your resignation is a MUST to open the way for rebuilding Canada's core systems and values, which have been dismantled under your doomed leadership. You are NO leader-this is our sad truth!

    >Mme. Christine Lagarde of France, a lawyer and minister, faced the same issue of tariffs with Mr. Trump a few years ago, but she simply sat down and negotiated an acceptable correction. Canada and the US trade over a billion dollars every day...that is every day!! The US does not subsidize Canada. That is a total misrepresentation of reality. Read the data.
    >It cannot be a miserable situation. Keep in mind just one thing: Canada (Alberta) ships over 4 million barrels of petroleum crude to the US, every single day. That accounts for about 80% of the needs of the US each day. That is just the oil balance sheet. And, and Canada has the third largest confirmed petroleum reserves in the world! If he puts that tariff in place, then every single car owner and truck owner in the US will be hit at the pumps.
    >It could be said that Mr. Trump is playing with fire. Talk to the leaders in the many States along the Canada-US border and get their take on this. Ontario and Quebec send huge quantities of electricity to the northern US States, every day. The US has a completely secure source of energy from Canada. This had better be recognized and acknowledged for Its real worth.
    >If Mr. Trump wants to talk about subsidies, then he had better focus his venom on China. Canada is not the enemy.
    >Oh, one more thing: Canada will never be a fifty-first State. Period!!
