Thanks For The Idea this Video we actually purchased four of these Debarkers for Stihl chainsaws and we opened up a business of removing above ground roots in people's yards that were growing above the soil that people were hitting with their lawn mowers causing damage to the lawn mowers like bent crankshafts broken blades you know exactly what I'm talking about so we placed an ad for above-ground root removal so we take this little item out and we shave the roots off where they are even with the ground or below the surface so people do not hit them with their lawn mowers
Wow , impressed with how it ate right thru the knots , now you need to come up with an idea on how to roll your log with out having to stop and roll it by hand. Maybe like an old round bale spinner ? Heck you may be building another cabin soon.
You Are Spot on with All you put out for us and keep making all of us better with your Post.. This is the only thing I'll ever recommend to to you... I've burned our 5 of those tools,Building 55 log Structures, cut the Nose off the Saw bar and Grind all the teeth and rackers off the chain
One of the ranches I worked on had one of these. It was a different brand called a "Log Wizard". We used it for peeling fence post for post treat. They work good, but damn dangerous! Be careful with that thing!
Yes sir getting old sucks!! I have 3 bulged discs and 2 torn discs peeling logs with a draw knife seems painful at best! But I will soon start a new life and hopefully build my own place! this tool would be perfect!!! Never give up on your dreams and Goals!!!
This looks like the kind of beast I need. Does it come with a bar and chain to fit onto the chainsaw? I could never get enough slack in either of my 3 saws to accommodate that.
That's a sweet ;looking tool, Paul. I'm glad you shared it as I've never seen or heard of it before. So...a new tool like this, for some upcoming projects this summer? Are you considering putting some of that content up on the Tube for us to enjoy?
That’s pretty cool! It’s even got that old fashioned hand hewn look to it. Thanks for posting
Seen this tool used on Homestead Rescue.. now I want to buy a chainsaw, find some trees and debark all day.
Haha
That really takes the bark off. Didn't know they made such a device. Really cool. Thanks for sharing Brother!
Buddy it’s the cats ass!!!

Ya just never know what tommorow brings
that thing is so cool . it would be cool to see how it works on the bigger logs . it even did a good job going over the limb stubs .
I’ll do a vid on a big log
That is one cool tool brother!!

That’s good advice
Thanks Morris
Those work pretty good from what I've heard, I sold a few loads of logs to a log home builder, and he had a few of them and said they were great
Right out of the box it was easy to use. I wish I had it 5 years ago. It would have been nice to shape a couple of those logs
@@montanawolftrapper8666 I've never used one, I just cut trees down, I don't build anything lol. But that log home guy in Libby sure likes them lol
Man that thing is Awesome!
Oh man it’s slick!
Kinda like a mini stump grinder.

Could you imagine the damage it would do😳😬
That’s slick as snot, hell of a lot less work than a draw knife 👍👍
Nice. Can you sharpen the debarking shaver component?
I’m sure you could but the blades are replaceable also
Nice! Thx for sharing boss. Ive got a ton of cedar to do as soon as the snow melts. Ill be gettin one of these

same as a "Log Wizard"....Nice !

18” bar takes a 20” chain for the unit
Nice accessori!

I’ll see if I can.
did you drill out holes on the bar to attach that?
Yessir
I can't imagine what you need such a toy for😂😂.
Haha
Shhhhhhh 😝
How much longer of a chain do you need??
2”
Always thumbs up 👍
My dream beard, I’m almost 1/2 way there.
Works great brother! Can you still cut logs when its attached?
Probably but I got 3 good saws
👍👍
That's a nice toy, tool.
I know what that means!! Cant wait to see the results
Soon!
Did you have to put a longer chain on Paul
2” longer
I have seen that before and have wanted to get one
You need one lol
Wicked
Way easier than a draw knife
