Great Machine!!! i have a 2014 Can am Commander max with a custom built LSR +6 XTR longtravel kit on it. You did a great job my friend. get on the forums so we can trade some info.
They have worn very well, still have tons of life in them. They are a stiff and heavy tire due to being dot rated, if we were to do it again though probably would have got outback max tires instead
it came with a long brake line that stretches from the master cylinder in the front to the rear wheels, as for the tie rods you have to use a pipe wrench and loosen you black housing that hold the in side ball joint.. and then The new ones should screw on without a problem.
The lift was about 2k as I remember.. and then wheels and tires $1200 plus cab enclosure, Yoshimura exhaust, heater core and blower, and a few other things
If you want a four passenger buy a Maverick or Kawasaki Teryx don’t get a commander if you plan to do any real off-roading. They are too much work to keep going. Only if you modify them like this

Were you able to get your rear wheels lined up ok? I just cant get mine to line up with this kit plus my front tie rod inner bolts keep coming loose???
Scott Scott I've had both issues with the kit, as well as a broken rear trailing arm.. But as for the camber adjustment, we are in the process of customizing them to stay in position.
It's an inch or two over 70", overall we wished that we had installed it way sooner. You can't go wrong with more clearance and travel.. like and subscribe to keep up to date with new mods.. I highly recommend the super atv 6" lift

I just bought my lift kit it was used but it came with two rhino axles. the front right seems to be too short even tho that's the size it calls for. supposedly on the can am it needs an axle spacer on the diff side. I think I'm just going to get some king cobra axles made to fit. I don't want to mess up the diff
Federico Martinez Well yes and no, the axles seem durable when taken out of the box.. But after about a year the start to self destruct, luckily super atv will cut you a break since they know that there having problems with them.
We wanted to run the stock clutching so we got 8 ply tires that were as light weight as possible.. we were actually considering the outback max tires but performance came 1st.
Nice ride. I have the very same Commander. How did you get the tie rods to work I was installing and ran into some issues there. Was this kit the kit that came with only 3 brake lines or did you have to alter it a little? I still have the kit i guess i need to get with my knowledgeable buddies and get it on!!

Yes do that at the very most, the super atv lifts are terrible on the commander max

The new super ATV 6” lift kit is completely redesigned, it now also includes radius rods and a way better suspension design overall.

love it I have a 2016 can am commander 1000xt and plan on putting a lift but should repaint the a arms to match

It's so big now it just slides over everything, the only down fall is the extra width its keeping us from some of the narrow trails..

We wanted to see how it did without an upgraded clutch, and from all the testing we did it has no need for it.

I have the same lift on my Can am . I still have the stock tires what backspacing did you use on your rims.
They are the same all the way around 2x5

It looks awesome! I am thinking about a 2015 1000XT and they sit pretty low. Not sure i want to go 6” or 3”. But your build here is killer

on the superatv website it says something about the rear axles won't fit if u have a locking rear differential do u know what that is

My rear arm broke the wheels way out of alignment still waiting on super atv for my rear arms replacement

Oh that's cool! I wouldn't personally recommend this lift kit... it's been a lot of trouble with all the little parts breaking
i just swaped and put a maverick motor in mine also.

I love it! Definitely has more power. Been playing with some nos and its been pretty fun, hard to tune though.
We haven't done any engine mods, but it is street legal I will have a vid soon

did you have issues with the right axle?
Federico Martinez The front diff blew apart from the inside. As well as both rear axles snapping the internal cage

Axles are still in perfect condition, but the front differential failed and a hole some how got blown through the housing.

How much width you gained with these mods, from 59 1/2" its now ?
The lift by its self was 10" extra, but with the tires we have its now a little over 70"s

Rincon I am wanting to get this for my 16 max1000 exactly how much does it increases your ground clearance with those 30s?
