The player Stratocasters are fantastic for the value, I love the modern C neck shape but I actually wish the length of the neck was shorter like the vintage strats, It's still very much ok anyway, I have the same guitar with a glossy maple fingerboard but my guitar is black not shell pink

Do you know how many have said that in the past?
"Let's get the kid an instrument, he will play it for years", and then 1 week later the child is totally over the whole instrument and couldn't care less.
It's usually best to purchase a beginner instrument first, everyone knows this.
@@OriginalPuro She's obviously been playing acoustic and songwriting for a while so I don't think she will just forget about it in a week, especially with how excited she is about the differences and the sound. In my opinion its a good idea to get an instrument you really like with good playability and sound as a beginner because if you are learning on an instrument that is hard to play and sounds bad you will just get discouraged. I say this as someone who has taught a lot of beginners how to play.
@@OriginalPuro if she gives it up then it’ll sad, I agree. But it doesn’t make it bad per se- they could get a nice instrument for her so why not? It’ll get her to play more because it’ll have more meaning to her rather than it being something she begins to hate because it’s not as good as she hoped for. I can say from experience- nicer and more expensive guitars are sm eAsier and niCer to play than cheaper ones. If she wasn’t already playing- I’d understand. But she iS playing and she’s obviously enjoying it :,) I just don’t see any issues here

I worked In a guitar store for quite a few years, and I have to say without any bias, the player series for the money, blew any other guitar out of the water
Virtually in tune out of the box, nice slim neck, pickups sound fantastic, and they could easily be a guitar for life

Squier by Fender, Ibanez *really great and cheap*, Epiphone *blues/funk*. I personally have a squier strat and it’s pretty good but get a really good amp and a decent guitar!

Congrats! Love strats even though I always use custom pickguard with only one volume in the last Tone position, but always warms my heart seeing kids getting excited getting a favorite instruments! Enjoy and have fun!

Reminds me of how I felt when I got my first electric guitar, it was just an Epiphone Les Paul jr. And I got a line 6 15 watt spider, it was a budget rig, but it felt amazing, like so much I could do with it!

HIYAAA an update that ZERO people care about, I got my guitar a few days after I posted that comment, it's (cheap and therefore not the best but still) really cute and amazing and I love playing it! when i got my first one which is the one i have now be careful with your fingers with the last few strings because i would accidentally cut my fingers fro pressing to hard. you also dont need to press that hard to play a chord which i learned.

I got the same guitar in black a few days ago on my birthday and I'm a beginner and i have no idea how to play a guitar or any other instruments so some tips and advise would be helpful for me
learns the songs u like first and just have fun with it as there’s no point boring yourself with scales and theory especially if you just want to do it as a hobby. for learning songs i recommend using two channels on youtube which are justin guitar and guitar zero to hero. if you or your family can afford it i would also recommend getting lessons as seeing someone one to one fave to face helps a lot! i hope this helps:)

You got a fantastic, legendary guitar! I'd say that it is more for an accomplished player, not really a starter guitar largely due to the cost. If you get one right off the bat and you will stick with it, then I'm so happy for you! 👍👍👍 You're entering another dimension of guitar playing. Learn more about electric guitars. There are many different brands with strengths, weaknesses, and variations in sound. What kind of guitar you buy really depends on the kind of music you will play. The Strat is a great rock, country, and blues guitar. If you play other music and get really serious about playing an electric guitar, then you will want to branch out to other guitars like those made by Gibson or budget brands based on the Gibson designs. Fender makes other models for other styles of music, and they are also made by budget brands. PRS is another great guitar builder, but there are many others. Next you will need to learn how to make an amp work for you; the Fender Mustang I V2 is a very good modeling amp. I have one. You may have learned that you can get Fender Fuse software to interface the amp with your computer. @@amynheld Sure, you're most certainly welcome! My best advice to you is to do your research and talk to people who are pro's. I have a friend who has been playing guitar since the 1950's when he was just a kid, and he has really helped me understand the guitar. One thing you've probably noticed is that an electric guitar is easier to play than an acoustic guitar. Anyway, you can tell that I'm long winded, so I'll just have to stop. I'm just excited to see more people taking up guitar. It's a beautiful instrument that I've loved all my life, and it's nice to see it live through people like you. I will subscribe to you your channel just to see your future progress. Hope you will post some videos of how it's coming along for you. 🎸🎸🎸

nice Guitar enjoy it have fun and write a Hit and use the cable put the end with the angel in the amp and the other end in the strat.Befor you put the whamy bar in the whole of the 2 point bridge with the small fether under the whamy then it stay where ya need id it and it does not flipp around on y tube ya find mass of videos how ya can set up a strat cause that iconic Instrument is very kindly you can make a cheap s type like sound as it was a custom shopmodell or even vice verse if ya don´t intertested in the function and how that laydy works
