About that Grounder animation! That was done by Zeurel. He actually has his own webseries that has that exact amount of polish put into every second, its called Monkey Wrench, you should really watch it!
edit: also about the eggman with the overalls, in the IDW-published sonic comic early on Eggman has post-Forces amnesia and claimsto be someone named "Mr Tinker", he regained his memory eventually but Tinker's existance got to actually have some effects on the story going foward, especially with the character Belle, whos like his only robotic creation he amde while still calling himself mr tinker (you can see her in that comic cover the editor showed briefly)
