this is simple. just hop off the higher drop-in edit: also, put tension on the plastic. screw it down with wood on either side, for the flat bottom. it will allow you to conserve almost all of your momentum and it will collect much less water. also, if you remove the tube from then sides for that flat bottom, or at least cut gaps, it will allow for drainage. less depth of water = less resistance
Have a constant flow of water down the ramp and also pull the black sheet so it’s tighter and there will be much less resistance. One of the funniest videos on your channel lol

We had all this plastic from assembling a makeshift paint booth so i could paint my buddies drift car and afterwards we all watched "Optimistic" which is a snowboarding video by Absinthe films and its absolutely amazing. This was 10 years ago btw. So that vid got us so hyped to snowboard in July i had a bright idea to use all the plastic and combine slip & slides with shredding to have a jib session on my up flat down box i have in my backyard every winter(i live in south lake tahoe) We tried EVERYTHING. Nothing worked. Until my fiance suggested baby oil. We spent $160 on baby oil and im glad we did because it worked so insanely well we all actually had a really good session. It was kinda lame we had to share my useless old DC board that didn't have steel edges. Y'all remember those dumb ass boards? Absolutely horrible i just bought it to jump on my trampoline. Anyway, i actually got half cab to nosepress the up, back lip the flat, then tail slide on the down to regs. It really worked super well i suggest yoh give baby oil a go before olive oil. Not sure how keen id be to essentially bathe in olive oil. Baby oil on the other hand has a pleasant smell, and has absolutely ZERO negative effects on any holes or eyeballs.

I think that the high drop in might be a little dangerous since you woulnd't want to fall off the edge on the side, but I do agree that would be smart
