Here’s the thing with your take on crafting:
All the people that are unemployed, don’t have kids, live with their parents or are a streamer are the ones who’ve had issues with crafting.
My stance is you have a choice on what you do in the game. Like eververse you don’t have to buy into the micro transactions. So with crafting you don’t have to craft your weapons.
If you genuinely feel like it ruins the game for you then don’t do it. Plain and simple. I’ll never understand the argument of crafting ruined the game. For the majority of the player base it’s helped so many people keep up with the top 10% of players because they don’t have the time to play but love the game or are invested.
It would be the top 10% of players argument to be upset about new lights and casuals having access to raid weapons that gives them an alternative to sitting in a raid for 6 plus hours.
Speaking from other activities that drop equivalent weapons or free solo chests. Either way It will be another nail in the coffin as being proven for them limiting it currently.
A lot of people loved the option or it gave them that sense of my time is more respected or I can spend time doing activities I enjoy now; instead of sitting in an activity for months or longer to get the exact weapon I want.
