This is Thera going back to the roots - once more. One of the very, very little Dj's and producers left that hasn't sold his soul completely to New and Rawstyle. I've been part of the HS movement since the very beginning and it ripped my heart apart when the style of "Early HS" was completely "destroyed" and extinguished. One of Europe's most known clubs in our country closed its doors forever as the core of the music got completely lost. Our scene here died overnight. I desperately clung to the very little that was left, literally crying (no dramatization, this is really what happened) because our beloved HS was basically gone. When The Prophet released "Hey!" I was over the moon, clinging on to the hope that his release may "wake up" some of his colleagues. "Hey!" was a literal wake up call and a desperate call for reviving the original core of Hardstyle again. You, dear Thera, either heard that call or it was the call of your very soul. Either way, no gazillion words would ever be able to FULLY express my IMMENSE gratitude for you as a Dj and producer. Your banging, asskicking HS tracks (with THAT kick, the go-nuts-kick) are a BLESSING to my ears and a BLISS for my broken raver heart who was never really able to recover from the shock of "losing" its all time favorite music genre. Your Hardstyle is the THERApy I need and the only one that works. THANK YOU!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️
"It's kind of a shame"?! What?! The fact that Thera is using Gated Kick lately is something that we should be proud of! About 90% of Hardstyle producers is using only Nu-Style Kick... so for me it's great to hear Gated Kick in 2018 :D
I don't mean it is a bad thing, I just like to hear him use something else. I know what a great producer he is, but i like to hear a little bit of variety
