- Been wanting to visit Chinatown in Bangkok Thailand for years now and finally was able to make it. This is one of the largest Chinatown in the WORLD! The food here from the spicy noodles to the grilled squid was mind-blowing delicious! Did not have a single bad bite of food! Although I wish I got to the seafood stall sooner because they ran out of several items...next time!

Hi Mike. Can you PLEASE visit Chicago and visit Chinatown there? We don't want a Chicago vs. somewhere else, we just want some advice when we visit there from someone who can call out a good place to eat. These travel logs to places on the other side of the world are nice but frankly, not many of your supporters are going to visit those places unless they are devoted to world travel. Chicago is at least in the middle of the USA, the country you call home, so please help US out.

@@xlil0ne Thailand have manykind of 7-Eleven somewhere very big have many variety product such as 7-Eleven pattaya somewhere just a small stall .
I lived in Bangkok almost of 3-5 Alley there will be 7-Eleven front of it. You just have to go to the normal size store they have as much ready to eat food as you want.
Thais are masters at blending sweet, savory, sour, bitter, and salty tastes. I’ve been lucky enough to be married to a Thai for 30+ years, oh and her occupation is chef. :-)
Does your wife have any single friends in their 40's? I love ALL Asian food. But I need someone that can cook authentic meals.

yes. but beyond street food, Bangkok has some of the best food in the world. you really need to know a local to get to the right restaurants and order the right things though. many times the best spots can't be found in English on Google, Trip Advisor, youtube etc.

that looked absolutely phenomenal! the crispy egg + oysters reminds me of the oyster pancake that I've tried in Taiwan. even the sauce seems like the same consistency.

Thai Chinese are the biggest overseas Chinese community. Most originate from Shantou/Chaozhou. Most of the food Mike is eating is from Chaozhou - the main addition is Thai condiments, which makes it even better.
Mike I always enjoy your videos but my favorite ones are when you are in Thailand and Vietnam. You always seem like you are just having a blast when you are eating at these wonderful food countries.
There is a lot of countries with amazing food, but I am proud to say that we do have some wonderful dishes in Thailand indeed :)
