Herk really loved Langhorne. It took a lot of guts and skill to master "Puke Hollow." He was about the only guy who could (and usually would) go wheel to wheel with A.J. and Parnelli and drive right around them. Ahh, the good old days. For me, the 1960's USAC Mile dirt racing was the absolute "Golden Age" of the "Championship Trail." Thanks for posting these very rare images!
The day of this video is the day Bobby Marvin lost his life when he flipped and landed on Bud Tinglestad near the end of the second 50 lap race,was such a sad day.
Whatever I was 14 at the time and wasn’t able to get a pit pass. Just be grateful I got what I did. One thing I learned in my life if you can’t say something good just say wheel barrow and go over it, Have a great day

@@rzrpap You should get those film To E m m r. Eastern museum of motor racing. Because the C h t wood F I l m is probably the only C o p y around that is very precious. Especially with the corvette that was done very F e w the lang horn. Tape is very interesting Thank you very much
