Do you cook those veggies first or is it like coleslaw?

Coincidentally, just this week I decided we need to eat more fish. Unfortunately, my grill caught fire in a dramatic fashion while cooking our tilapia. Flaming paint and scorched aluminum foil is not the desired smoky flavor for fish. 😱🤣 Luckily I had roast veggies in the oven, so I had those, with a protein shake for dessert. Lol

Wow, Serene! Since listening to this, I bought in my Aldi order frozen salmon, canned salmon for my childhood favorite, salmon Patties and for my hubby and I sockeye salmon!
I just got the frozen salmon out and did it exactly like you said, but I had fresh rosemary instead of dried, I put mine in a cast iron skillet with a lid. It just came out of the oven, I had a bite out of the middle, and wow, it’s so great!!! I can’t wait for my hubby to try. We have always been so disappointed with frozen salmon, but not now! Thanks, Abby

Salmon where I live is very expensive and sometimes not available. We've recently started making a higher income and it's not too bad now but man, I still feel like we need to cut something to afford it lol

I have recently remembered how much I love fish. I plan to eat salmon twice a week and tilapia 1-2x a week now 💕 I love having it cooked in the fridge to throw on a salad.

I am with Danny! It's an "A"! You have reminded me I need more salmon! We are a one income family of 6 (4 kids). We do salmon on average of once a week. I do use the Aldi frozen salmon and I am okay wjth it! I want to up that and will this coming week. We'll do twice as a family and I am going to add a third serving for a lunch for myself and husband.

And now I'm craving sushi! What a great poddy this was! I try to have salmon 2x a week, but now I'm challenging myself to have it at least once more

I love salmon! But a few years ago it started me sick and I’ve been afraid to try it since :( I’m healthier today so I want to try it again but in the meantime I’m one of those weird people who love sardines! So I’m trying to increase that and safe catch tuna.

Danny's description of the ADHD person with food matches my 6yo daughter so well! (Yes she has an official diagnosis). She DOES like the really expensive salmon sometimes, and we get it for her bc it's worth it 🩷

An easy gateway into fish if you haven’t been eating it and don’t love it is the tortilla chip crusted tilapia filets at Costco. In the air fryer they are delicious and not fishy at all. Not totally on plan but if it gets you started eating fish I think it would help
