Tesla needs to run some TV ads educating the public on what their vehicles can do. I was talking to a friend yesterday who thought that the lowest cost tesla was $80,000! He was stunned when i told him he could get the Model Y for $36k!

I've been working on this for years, my coworkers are interested and ask a lot of questions. This is why I laugh when the media says EVs have a demand problem. Tesla literally hasn't even tried to tap into the full market potential. They've been supply side constrained for most of the companies history. The more exposure people get to EVs the more they are going to want them. I have people doing the math in their heads as I'm telling them about costs and charging and then the light bulb goes off and there like, damn with the gas savings I would only be paying 2 hundred dollars a month. The early adoption phase is over and the main adoption phase is about to start. Gas prices going up this summer are going to be a huge catalyst.

your comment about"car like drive", was exactly the same type of brief given to the original designers of the Ford Transit in the 60's, they were instructed to make a new van that could fit a whole sheet of 8x4 plywood flat on the floor and drive like a car, over 50 years later the transit is still around in countless countries, the Cybertruck will hopefully have the same lifespan :) :)

🤗THANKS BRIAN AND JOSEPH,FOR SHARING THIS… just saying, back in the day when I was working in bad weather, I would clean my mirrors on my van every day so I would have a clear view so wiping off a little camera would be no problem😁💚💚💚

Nice little fireside chat presentation ( minus the fire, lol )....I like that you two had cogent cohesive thoughts to discuss and noticed when Brian took a drink of water then put the bottle back off screen. Nice touch, as it eliminated a potential distraction. Looking forward to tesla ramping up production of these, and the price dropping meanwhile tesla makes improvements and upgrades to it....ljust like they do with every model. Thanks again.

I live in NW Houston, Cypress, the Service Center near me had about 15 CTs in the lot about 5 days ago. I finally got over there to take some pictures and only 7 is still there waiting for their owners to show up. I have yet to see one being driven by an actual owner., but it should be soon.

In some states just driving to wilderness is at least 150 miles. There are no chargers. You also have to go back. It is necessary for an adventure vehicle to go 400+ at the least.

I just realized today that I've not seen one mention or demonstration of hooking up a trailer hitch.

I’ll never understand as awesome as I have always thought this truck is (and I ordered one the night of the reveal) that so many other Tesla people especially those with TH-cam channels hated it

Brian it is not ever like a gas station. Lots of folks like to drive 67 hours nonstop just for the five minutes of gas and you cannot do that with any electric vehicle at this time

Have you ever watched one of the recent FSD beta V12.3 videos? Yes you will need to wait a little (1-2 years) till it is fully autonomous, but then it is a steal for that money..... If you don't like that, just don´t get it and pay a hefty price, once it is level 4/5
