What are you using for Diff fluid and weights? Just getting into RC and got a EB410.2 and ET410.2 used and after watching an Adam Drake video and some googling I went and got racers edge 3k,5k,7k fluid today but now looking at the manual to tear down looks like it asks for 15k,30k,10k. Running on usually dry clay not much for jumps. Kinda bummed I went out and spent the money on the wrong weights so hopefully work in my sc10pro4 or my tlr 22 5.0 2WD. P.s. I just opened my EB410.2 center diff as it didn’t have much fwd out of the box. Black and smells like 80wt gear oil from Napa and missing the red o ring and metal spacer so the out drive would slide out enough to stop spinning. Starting to hope I didn’t get taken for a ride.
I’m on the stock kit build recommend weights for EB410.2. Sounds like last owner did a diff repair or rebuild incorrectly. Shouldn’t be too hard or expensive to get back to spec. Good luck!
@StudNoteZ I know its been 3 mos but I recently went to 100k in my center diff and WOW what a difference! It hooks up so much better than before! Im running on medium to high bit clay :)
someone told me that the weight of the eb410.2 is a hinderance compared to the say associated or losi 4wd buggy, also that it doesnt run as well as others on a carpet or high bite surface, thoughts?
