- BMW certainly knows how to produce really great motors and in the K1600 motorcycle series they install a fantastic inline 6 cylinder 1649cc motor. You just have to experience this motorcycle and I had the privilege of testing and riding the B for Bagger. Not only that, also fully specked with pretty much every conceivable extra from cosmetic to technical to Option 719 and an exhaust to behold....... Big 6 cylinder, with quick-shifter, a monstrous push into the plush seat as the power gets unleashed, topping it all off with a F1 sounding quad Remus exhaust.

I bought a new K1600b 2 1/2 months ago and after 8,000 miles I realize it is near perfect. I did ride a 2022 HD Road Glide Special about 10 days ago. In no way is the HD comparable to the BMW! The BMW is ten times the bike, period!
Does it wobble at high speeds? If so, do you have a solution for it that you can share?

The R button on the left handle bar is the REVERSE GEAR 😉.
It must be in NEUTRAL, apply the brake and then press the R button. Now use the STARTER button to go back (the reverse gear is basically the starter motor).

Great review! You overlooked the reverse, see that button “R” on the right side of the left handlebar..? That’s the reverse 😎. I currently drive a K16B with the Remus from 2019, awesome bikes! This Midnight color is awesome, I’ll probably upgrade at some point 😏, there’s just no comparison.
Hi there, i do believe there is a R button on the left side grip to activate reverse.

Had a 2015 street glide for 7 years and but BMW K1600 B is no compareson.
I have the 2020 w/Remus full exhaust. Beast !!!! Just got the R1800. Fun around town bike. Love the brand, since early 90’s. 👩🍳

Love this video, love my K1600B. The only negative is the 15 inch wind deflector, I purchased a 17 inch and cain't wait to try it.

Not sure I you rode this bike? I owned 1, and although the power and handling are unmatched by any other bike in this category, the instability of this bike is unbelievable.
The bike is very unstable at speeds, especially over 150kph. That's why the grand America is restricted. it was life-threatening.
also, the bike has a very bad left pull.
The wing is very stable.

My 2019 K1600B has REVERSE gear. Are you sure the 2023 model doesn't...?

This thing seems more bad ass than the Goldwing. But is the aftermarket accessory market the same? Seems unlikely..

I would update,however the colors are awful! A nice blue,or purple would be nice! Not black, gray, nor midnight blue!
