I pick up rocks and put them in my backpack until my knees start to buckle... then I either put them in the car and continue or... depending on how long I've been out I might just go home... but not until my knees are about to pop.
Beautiful minerals everywhere in USA. Anyone in a state that's minus Agates, look up your state and see what minerals are popular there. Every state had something amazing lurking around bodies of water. Ya all would be surprised to see what your states have to offer for rock hunting. Agates are in numerous states. However, colors vary due to mineral deposits from each state. Have fun ya all. Rock hunting is the best way to get stoned 😂😎😋.
Do you find any fossils in your area? I find some every now and then. I've made it a habit to put in some effort for digging into gravel bars to search for any fossils and agates and whatnot. Good luck on your outings.
