@tramfahrermd Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Many streetcar systems had "displays" like this, and I decided we needed one, makes for great way to show how the "works" works :-)

Thank you for this lesson! I wanted for a long time to understand how an accelerator works.

Excellent video! I read about how a PCC controller works, but that is nothing like seeing it in action.

PCC's "drive" a lot like an automatic equipped truck or bus, not the only thing that bus manufacturers learned from PCC development. Thanks for the visit and comment!

Really appreciate this video. We teach a course in rolling stock management and this video will be very interesting in class.

+Steven Harrod Many cities had mockup of the streetcar components to teach the mechanics and operators the basics of operation, this is a very simplified version. The first person to learn from this was me! Thanks for your interest and please make good use of any of my videos.

It's great to see how it works. Really similar to 105Na in Poland

This is very identical to the early underground trains in the uk worked with a PCM unit that notched the relays in conjunction with the traction equipment by means of a compressed air and oil operated camshaft mechanism that stepped the motors across the 630 volt line , this arrangement also had line breakers and RPA’s
