You should have put a small pies of plywood under the big hole and screwed it in from Belo. Marinetex isn't structural. When your gorilla tape falls off so will the Marinetex.

I just put all of the contents of the pack together. It held up pretty good so I guess that was pretty accurate.

I removed the gorilla tape after the marine tex harden and it is sitting there just fine. If it were a larger hole I would have place plywood in it.
