Bro, you will be hated by my wife that's for sure, she already hates my car 😎🙈 "Why are you washing it again" 3 hrs later "when are you gonna be done" lol So my journey with hand wash started when I bought my pearl black Maserati Quattroporte, gave it for ceramic coating not knowing what goes with it. The guy said "do not go to automatic car washes, only hand wash". I was like what? 😐 yea! Ok. But I knew that whatever you do you gotta be prepared. Hours and hours of research on what to use how etc. That's why probably your channel popped out as a recommendation. Thank you for all that info, I can't wait to go through all your clips for more inspiration! 🤜🤛
Mine complains unless I’m cleaning her car. 🤣 I had a Quattroporte as well it was Nero Ribelle paint. Which was the metallic tri color flake. I got plenty more content coming to make her hate you more. 🤣
@Cars With Keav exactly 💯 about doing "her" car! Yea 🔱 is fun! Beautiful cars! Interesting how simple thing like washing a car can be taken to perfection, it's not a cheap journey but it's definitely worth it. Once again, I truly do appreciate what you do!
I love the setup and it's location, great for indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. I'm not sure I could do that up in New England without cranking the garage heat all winter. I am thinking about putting the water filters and pressure washer on the back wall and then running a line out to the front of the garage and setting up the spools there. I'm not sure if that would make enough of a difference temp wise. Until then the wash cart will have to do. Another great video!
I have no experience in northern winter when it comes to car washing so I would t be a great resource for that. I live in Michigan and West Virginia in my younger years so I know how brutal it can get.
@@CarsWithKeav I just ordered the bare compressor. Now I need to order the rest of the tools to put it to work. I want a quality 50' hose and a decent gun/wand.
@@LaswellB active is coming out with a gun soon. I’ll have one to review soon. If not MTM makes some good ones. McKillans has a good budget swivel version as well.
@@CarsWithKeav I got my active 2.0 from OG the other day. I tested it that day, and all was fine. I got it mounted on the wall today, turned it on, it pressurized, then shut off. Now it won't run. I have a green light at the plug, so nothing tripped electrical wise, my guess is an internal issue with the switch. I've got an email to OG and waiting for a response.
Love this setup. Curious why PVC over Pex? I'm currently cleaning up my in garage setup too, but I also have a hot water line in mine. So I'm trying to configure different valves to balance hot and cold to the PW and regular hose.
PVC just looks better to me and easier for me to deal with. I wonder if there are inline temp sensors so you can make sure the water isn’t too hot for the pressure washer or hose.
@CarsWithKeav for my setup, I've been considering pex so I can do blue and red for cold and hot. Probably with shark bite elbows. But my current setup is braided garden hose fittings like washing machines. But still trying to decide what I like and want.
@CarsWithKeav temp wise, I never run full hot to the PW. The hot is always blended with cold. Bucket fills are probably the hottest I go, so my mitt dips are nice and warm in these NY Winters.
@ I think most equipment can do 140 degrees which is higher than most hot water heaters run. You should be good then. Most pressure washer equipment meaning of hot is using it with a boiler or steam setup running like 200 degrees or more.
I use it in my upper garage when I need to pressure wash there. Mainly use for Cleaning my porch and driveway. Also even my tile shower in the bathroom. 🤣
I had two leaks crazy it was the least expected. The elbow and the male 3/8 plug I had to double up the thread tape and use tons of leverage. It was one of those drips every few minutes, but was bothering me.
I just like the shirt. Literally only the Active 2.0 was bought from them. I did the whole setup myself from Home Depot and Amazon, you see him using a Flexzilla hose, you see any Mosmatic here? Go take your assumptions somewhere else.
I upgraded to a 50ft 5/8 Flexzilla garden hose recently. It’s ease of rolling back up on the reel is unbelievable.
So true it rolls up so nice!
The place is looking great for what it was 8 months ago, loving that set up.
Total transformation for sure.

I love your videos as you know and this is great to see and get ideas from. Really helping me out with my garage setup thoughts. Thanks man!
Appreciate that

Love it Michael…. I wish I could retain you to set up my car wash system.
Too much work for me. I’ll leave that to the professionals. 😂
Neon Green Flexzilla matches your Ryobi One addiction!!!!
It does! 😂
Well done! I would a video on the washing machine! Thanks man
I might do it as part of another video.
Nice setup. I'm eagerly awaiting for the 2.0 to be back in stock. Hopefully it'll be here before spring car show season.
I think I just saw they said they are taking ore-orders again.

Always a great video and review, setup looks great.

I think my favorite part of the video was the microfiber towel washer lol
Might do a video on that, but once again another product I bought on a hood deal and now no longer available. 🤷♂️

@ red and blue is a nice combo and if you can get them to be nice and straight pex should look good using elbows.
Hi. I would like to know about the floor you have. Please make a video of it.
Thanx
Did one and here is the link. th-cam.com/video/HV8xDwMUctk/w-d-xo.html

When will the winner of the active 2.0 be announced?
Probably next week after I get back from vacation and can film it.
@@CarsWithKeav 😊 thank you for all you do for this community.
Did you ever have any issues with your 90 degree brass connectors to the pressure washer? I have always had them leak for some reason.
I did initially just had to use good quality Teflon tape like blue monster and had to use lots of leverage to torque them down.
What about the Giraffe pro? Are you using it?
I use it in my upper garage when I need to pressure wash there. Mainly use for
Cleaning my porch and driveway. Also even my tile shower in the bathroom. 🤣
Did you have to battle any leaks or did everything dial in nicely? Agree with your take on "budget" 👍🏻

What size pvc pipe did you use 1/2”or 3/4”?
1/2, my main line there is 1/2 so no need to go higher plus I wanted more PSI for the garden hose sprayer.
Thanks
Pressure washer king is so hawt rn
I do it for you!
