There is something even better than this. It's when you *live* with the nature. You know, digging the soil out with your bare hands, ploughing/sowing/harvesting a field using simple tools (a horse/donkey/mule or a bull are permitted, tractors and combines are not), mucking out every day, spending the whole night outside in the gale searching for your sheep and hoping they do not unalive themselves in the meantime, spending a month or two in the lambing shed having just quick naps, never a proper, deep sleep...That sort of a thing is way more powerful.
Yes... it does sound very close to G-D.
But it saddens me to say that for the majority of the people, it's not practical.
@@venezzrok-fz1du, I am not sure if this is about practicality. There are some things that are essential to life- and living close to the soil is essential to human wellbeing. More and more people are suffering physically, mentally, emotionally as a direct consequence of not living this way. When people do not work with their hands, they turn weird. Their bodies suffer from a plethora of illnesses (a staggering number of people today suffers from inflammatory diseases and mineral deficiencies). Their minds go weird in so many ways. They even start to have delusions that they are "something better" and that working with soil is "bellow their status". As for food production: I would strongly encourage you to visit a farm during a harvest. You know, the sort of "practical" farm with combines. Wait for the last patch of the field where the carnage happens!- thousands of live field animals are shredded together with the grain. I would then encourage you to visit a mill and see what is being processed in the hoppers- millions of insects and animal faeces ground into the "finest flour". That's the price people are willing to pay for convenience. Oh, and did you know, that the fruit and veg's you eat has next to no nutritional value anymore? Thanks to to "convenient" systems of mass production.
And while we are at it and talking about the Tanakh too...I am of a strong opinion that a man who does not have a good piece of land and does not work it with his bare hands too (Genesis 3), does not have any right to access a woman (e.g. have a wife or children). Yes, really. It would sort things out real fast.

I like this concept...and Hisbodeus.I think about certain Mitzvot when I'm in nature...are there certain prayers to recite to help with the connection to Hashem and nature?
