a sidenote: the scientific analysis of our own observations indicate that earth is geocentric/motionless and that the luminaries revolve around us (fixed stars, wandering stars (planets), sun & moon). Ultimately this is trivial to some, but for myself this was a salvation issue as I have a tough time imagining that God didn’t adequately describe our home in His word and that the biblical authors where just out of touch with reality. Geocentric earth with a physical literal firmament is simpler and matches the scriptural descriptions of creation way better all throughout the bible not just Genesis 1. Shalom 🙏
