I lost my grandma today and I am a mess, she was my best friend and we did so much together including watching your hilarious and knowledgeable videos until she couldn’t anymore. I use to do all her flower plantings and decorating her house for holidays. She always liked me too plant 4 big pots with the same things every year because she loved them so much which included a spike in the middle then 3-4 red geraniums around that and ivy around the edge. It really was so Beautiful and matched her big White House. This year when I did it I was going to sneak in a couple blue lobelia. I think she would have really liked it. I will still plant this and put on her grave. They are pretty drought tolerant and go until winter weather . I love you and your videos so so much, I was really hoping to see one today and yay there it was . You Always bring a smile to my face and it really helped to take my mind away from reality for a bit. So thank you for that! You bring so much joy and laughter to my life and I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished. Do you think you could plant a couple of those for my grandma? Her name was Sylvia Mae ! 🫶🌺🌺🌺🪴

Oh no! I’m so sorry for your loss! I will go right now and start growing some Salvia seeds and Red Maverick Geranium seeds that I have in honour of your Grandma Sylvia Mae. Sending hugs, thoughts and prayers for comfort during this difficult time.💞 I will plant them out in my garden later in the spring and think of you and your Grandma. Love from Canada🇨🇦

LOVING GROVER! Grover was my mom's favorite Sesame Street character. And one of my favorite books as a child was called, "There Is a Monster at the End of this Book". It featured Grover. The color is perfect. Fun. :)

I planted 4500 geraniums at my work. 😅 I think I am up to around 30,000 annuals planted on top of that as well. I don't have a potting machine though... my arm needs a break! Lol Plus Several thousand perennials. Our last shipment for planting until fall comes next week! I am in North Alabama Zone 7b... we start planting in January!

Pickle forks/escargot forks you know the two prong fancy forks. They work great for getting plugs out of any sized tray.

Nicole, I struggled with my plug trays drying out, too. I used some of the very shallow white germination trays from Greenhouse Megastore and it really helped. You could use anything that will hold moisture in the bottom so the plug roots can get a quick drink. I still need to water daily, but not multiple times/day.

Ahhh yes, we were updated to 6a in my area. But then over the winter, we had a day or two that was like -30. Not sure that quite works with the 6a zone, but whateves lol.

So many beautiful plants. The velvet coleus is very striking and your puppies are so adorable! I'm in 6b SE Mich and I think I started my Ranuncs too early. They are still in the pre sprouting trays but most have leafed out about 2 to 3 inches tall! I'm wondering how deep to plant the corms now that the plants have grown so big? Should I plant in ground or 4" pots
I'm one of those who pushes the window on planting before the last frost date. Sometimes I get fortunate, and sometimes I have to replant. Patience is not my strong suit when it comes to waiting to plant.
